Morning! Can't believe it's the 20th! Only 8 days left in the month! Whut?

It's Thursday! I'm recovering slightly from a hangover as we went out for a friend's birthday last night. Guess the margaritas were stronger than I thought :-P

After work, I'm heading to a friend's house for a little house warming party. Should be fun! Tacos, yum!

QOTD: Yep, spend too much time on Pinterest daily. I like to check out the Health & Fitness board, Food and Drink, and Travel boards :-)

Morning. Just waking up which is great when you have a 4mth old... It's just after 8am. And she isn't awake yet!!

I'm sure there's something I'm supposed to do today but I've no idea what! Maybe find a birthday present for dd1 or plan her birthday party properly? She's 3 on the 1/3! Though I've had absolutely no input from dh on the subject...

And I have a christening to organise for 23/3 for dd2.

Might try to look for curtains too for our living room and bedroom.

QOTD: No, I don't really 'get' Pinterest. I've gone on it but I don't understand the fascination. I come on here (MMM a fair bit these days) or an Irish parenting site (that has too much drama for me at times). Or random sites.

Good morning! Today, I'm taking DD swimming with some friends. I'm excited because she absolutely LOVES it but I'm dreading it because it is absolutely exhausting for both of us. And we're off to England tomorrow for the weekend and I still need to pack and clean up. I don't think I'll be sleeping tonight. Our flight is at 6:30 in the morning! But DD's going to get to meet her great grandmother for the first time. That's exciting.

QOTD: I will go on Pinterest occasionally. I enjoy the beauty boards for make-up and hairstyles. I'd like to get back on there for ideas for DD's nursery. I'd like her to have her own room eventually.

Morning/evening, all. I'm going to see Dave Chappelle perform tonight. So excited!

QOTD: I occasionally go on Pinterest, but didn't know you could browse topic boards like that, unless you mean Suzy Q's food board. I know you can search for a term, but normally I just look at what pops up when I go to the homepage. I've created some boards, which I promptly pin then forget about!

As for other sites I waste my time on, well, you're looking at it! The different boards are sufficient to kill my idle time (which right now is a lot)!

Good morning. I answered what was happening today in the Wednesday thread, but my neighbors moved out today. And I am really upset about it. I knew they were going, but I was hoping it wouldn't be so soon, especially since part of why they're moving is the asshole who lives behind them -- who I found out today called the cops on them when they were having a BBQ because the smell wafted into his house through his open windows! But they'd had enough of him.

And FIL's best friend passed away overnight, so we went over to check on him and MIL and had dinner at their house. I had baked oatmeal raisin cookies (and a loaf of raisin bread) and brought some of those over for dessert. Now we're home and watching Olympics.

QOTD: I don't get Pinterest. I hang out here -- this board, Travel, Books, and watching the drama at CEP, Facebook, check Twitter, and at a couple of other message boards, as well as checking out blogs.

I'm sick, I have the plague, or the flu. A fever and all. DD has been sick/snotty too. This week is just full of win.

Yeah, I'm on pinterest, but since DD I haven't really spent much time there. Before her birth the kids boards were most frequented.

Morning. I couldn't get my car unstuck yesterday. :/ so I didn't get the laundry done. I spent 2 hours waking around back and forth trying to move it. Walking to the gas station to get salt. It's suppose to start raining and stay warm. So I'm hoping I can get it out today. Ugh ugh. I'm seriously thinking we should not get a compact. I'll never be able to drive in winter without a garage.

Laundry today *crosses fingers* I'm excited for dinner. I think I am going to Target for chocolate. I tried to make white chocolate popcorn and it was gross. So going to try regular chocolate. Terriaki chicken for dinner. Nom

QOTD: I have it allibally I don't use it too much. Because I get annoyed when I pin something and it doesn't lead tot he original source. I used it a bit for my wedding.

Hello. I'm having a crabby day today. Just not enjoying work lately. Bleh.

QOTD: I use Pinterest quite a bit. Mostly for recipes but also for baby ideas and home decor inspiration (for a house I will SOMEDAY own). I also like to get hair and outfit inspiration on there.

Ugh, yes I hate that too! I now make sure I open the link to make sure it works before pinning. It's a pain but at least those links will be correct!!!

Hi everyone! Where has the month gone but also where has this day gone? It started out crummy with DH staying home until alomst noon. Tis slowed me down a bit. I deep cleaned the bathroom, popped in at my hair stylist, who forgot a spot or wtvr b/c my hair looked uneven, to fix my hairs, I went to a meeting for volunteer work, and shopped for about 1.5 hrs. I bought a creme/off-white shirt with black polka dots. I took forever to decided between this and the inverse: black with creme/off-white polka dots. I felt ridiculous. I figured I was done with all the dark colors and so picked the creme. It will be cute with mint and coral in spring I think. On my way home I picked up some shower gel (again I couldn't decide between scents ahhhh!) and got DH's shoes from the cobbler.

Now I am down to half my to-do list before leaving for Paris on Saturday... In order to make things work I either have to clean my fridge and vacuum or work on my article tonight. I think I'll save the article for tomorrow.

QOTD: I am on Pinterest. I mostly look at fashion. I frequently visit some of the S&B gals' boards on there.

Hi there, I'm recovering from my cold. I do feel a lot better than I did yesterday so I think this will be a fairly quick one to get over. I'm not achy and pale anymore. I don't have a headache or feel lethargic. I just have the classic sneezing, coughing and runny nose, but I just deal with that when I am alone. 

QOTD: I am on Pinterest. I haven't used it that much lately but I might a bit more again. I have all different kinds of boards. I go for kind of an artsy/conceptual approach to my boards. I have recipe boards, fashion boards, travel image boards, cool other images boards, architectural and design-based boards. My Pinterest is really about a lot of images that I like - it isn't necessarily that personalized to me. A lot of stuff on there has nothing to do with things that I practically like or want, it's more like a little museum of images that I like. I participate on a group board that is like that. It's a board devoted to cool images of abandoned buildings. Weird idea, but I really like a lot of the images on there (like beautiful spooky ghost houses). I don't like the idea of buildings being abandoned but the images on that board are often really unique.

I'm also on a few other GBCN boards. Facebook too, of course. I also read some online newspapers and I do find myself reading feeds from sites like Slate and Politico. I kind of shift between sites depending upon my interests.
