Way to go Tampa. You've had perfect running mornings for months now and today? Holy disgusting. Ease me back in at least! Lol
So, what's your workout vent today??

My vent is that I can't run and we are having some warmer weather now. I'm sad every time I see someone running.

I'm also annoyed that our CrossFit Trainer never emailed us back about working with another trainer over the weekend b/c she is traveling.

Sorry you can't run. I went thru an injury last summer. It killed me to see others running. Hope you can run very soon!

I am also annoyed by the weather. Warm being relative, after a winter of polar vortexes and snowstorm after snowstorm, OF COURSE the day I have my ONE race of the season it's going to be 55. I despise the heat and am acclimated to 20s and teens so I am going to be sweating my balls off.

I'm trying to lose a little weight, but it is making my running suck. I wish I could find that nice middle ground where I eat enough to run well, and still lose a little.

Are you guys expecting rain? It's crazy humid here today. I think once it passes, we'll be back to nice weather. I feel bad for the princess racers this weekend. The Disney races keep falling on weekends that we get a warm/humid snap. It's also causing me to realize just how lucky I was to have the weather I did for my Orlando, January marathon.

We were super humid yesterday (New Orleans) but got that storm system last night and it's nice and dry now. Of course, today is my rest day and yesterday I had to slog through 3 miles of that grossness.

My vent is that I have yet another cold. I remember a few years ago feeling all smug because I rarely, if ever, got sick. Joke's on me - the reason that I wasn't getting sick wasn't because I have an amazing immune system, it's because I didn't have a child bringing home every variety of germ possible from daycare!

It's actually supposed to be nice here this weekend (in the 50s) and it feels so WARM! OMG it's incredible.

Don't worry, we'll be back in the 20s next week. Sob.

Same here.  I am still not allowed to run.  I was hoping to get one nice run in before the weather turns nasty again but no luck.  I just hope there is no snow.  Lol

Not much of one, but DH and I worked out together this morning to a DVD and he said he had to choose one that didn't have too much core work because he had a stomachache from eating too many fries last night at the bar (guys night out).
Really? Now all I can think about is a basket of hot, fresh crispy fries. Damn it.

This is not a vent and it's not workout related, but I have to put it somewhere because, you guys. My residency match day is in ONE MONTH. This is insane and awesome and really terrifying. My final rank list is due on Wednesday, and I think I'm done messing with it but it's practically giving me hives to think about it closing. Seriously, my heart rate just shot up while typing this.

And also apparently I graduate in less than 100 days. Sending me out to actually be responsible for people? WHAT ARE THEY THINKING?

Haha thanks! Rationally, I know I'm going to be fine next year - I'm as prepared as I can be. It's match day that is much more stressful. I just want to know where I'm going! (and that I am going somewhere!)

Yep it's the Gasparilla curse. Every year it's perfect leading up to the race and perfect the week after but the weekend of the race it's so humid you can't even breathe. Grrr so much for PR tomorrow

I heard it rained during the 5k. It poured at my house, but I'm about an hr from Tampa. It's hot & sunny now
