I've only had one other Chanel polish, and while I typically think they aren't worth the price (basically as much as three Essies or OPIs), the other one I had was a wonderful consistency, applied easily, and didn't get gunky even a couple of years later.
So, for endless applications of a neutral, I think it's worth it. One reviewer said it was like Essie Mademoiselle, but not super sheer and runny.
Lol at this review. She said this happened in TWO days.
I almost posted a nail polish deal today :-) I'm doing my nails more myself and have bought some new polishes recently. I really like OPI taupe-less beach, and Essie lace-somethingorother. I'm looking for recs for something gunmetal or silver, or anything fun for spring.

Well!? What's the deal?
I'll google. I saw taupe-less earlier. It's pretty.

Booooooring Ballerina. Try some holo in your life then! Get your nails wet with some color. You'll get used to it.
@gypsy she's right. I did French manicures from 2003 - this past November. Now I think its boooooring! Color is fun and you will get used to it. I love my gunmetal liquid sand polish lol
Sorry for the huge link, it's from a google image search. It's one of the companies that does shellac or gel polishes, but this is called a weekly polish, basically supposed to be longer lasting that other polishes. The pic doesn't look like whats on my nails though, my nails pretty much look like the first pic you posted.
Opi liquid sand is so awesome. China glaze peachy keen would make a good spring color. I plan on using that soon. This is how I did my nails for when it snowed over a foot and I was trapped. The white is opi liquid sand in solitaire from the Bond girls collection and the blue snowflake is Essie butler please.
I don't want to make a whole new post but @kimberhenry reminded me. How many of you do nail art? Do you have small brushes to do it? I found a pack of colored rhinestones my SDs never used so I've been using them on my accent nail (ring fingers) but I want to branch out. What do you use?
I love nail art. I'm glad the accent nail trend is still holding on, because I never have enough time to do much more than that. I love playing with water marbling, and I used to be really good with the stampers. I somehow lost my dotting tools, so I improvised and made one with half a bobby pin stuck into a cork. It works just fine.
Back to the subject of springy nail polish, I agree, try some fun colors! In the last week or so mine have been Zoya Gilda (foil/glitter fuchsia), Zoya Mimi (foily purple, I think from the same collection as Gilda) and Essie Mojito Madness (bright kelly green cream). They say "springy" to me.
Ahh, I love nail polish. I could talk about it all day, haha.

I have several stamping plates that I got from Bundle Monster. I have rhinestones but I got them then didn't realize I'm not really supposed to wear them in as a healthcare facility employee. Oops. So if anyone wants a butt load of them, I can mail them to you. I'll never use them.
