This is my second pregnancy and I swore I would run more this time, but it just didn't happen. I was so tired during my first trimester, plus running after a toddler, my H's work hours got longer and longer, and with the ice outside running with the jogging stroller (what I normally do during the week) wasn't an option.
So I'm looking for some advice. I ran a marathon the day before we got pregnant, so my fitness level was pretty high at the beginning. I'm 15 weeks now and it's finally starting to warm up and melt the ice and I want to get back out there! I'm just nervous that since I've only run a handful of times since finding out I'm pregnant that I'm too far gone.
I wanted to start Hal Higdon's training for the 15k, so nothing too crazy. I plan on scaling my pace back to a 12 min/mile and walking when I need to. Does this seem doable?

Congratulations!
Just take it easy. You're not too far gone at 15 weeks. You have a frame of reference about what's normal/not normal for your body to feel based on your first pregnancy. Worth giving it a shot. Good luck!
I think it's totally possible I recently ran walk in a half marathon at 18 weeks after doing nothing since finding out. I was sore but managed. I am positive if I had done a training program like you suggested and maintained a slower pace I would be fine with that too. Just listen to your body and good luck!
