I've got a minor pain on the bottom of my foot, back by the heel. I can only feel it when standing on hard surfaces, and the pain is really like a 2 out of 10 - nothing major but definitely there. Do I run? 5 miles on the schedule today, planning to do so outdoors (FINALLY!).
That is the classic plantar fisciitis spot. I'm going to go against everyone else and suggest resting it. I would stretch your gastroc and soleus and roll the bottom of your foot out on a frozen water bottle. You don't want to flare it up. Nip it in the bud before it starts!
Update - I ran pain free in that spot and have had no pain since this morning. I stretched and foam rolled pre and post run (calves and ankles mostly) and feel fine. My feet have that 'crunchy' feel to them so I need to roll them on a tennis ball or whatever more regularly.
