If I run at noon, I eat breakfast at 7am (I always eat breakfast around this time) then a snack around 9:30 am. I eat my full lunch right after my run.
On non lunch run days, I usually skip morning snack but then eat lunch at 11am because I'm starving.

I eat a light snack beforehand, like a banana, half of a Kind or Luna bar, or a yogurt. (Yogurt only before a gym workout; if I'm running, my stomach can't handle that.)
I normally eat my entire lunch like normal, but it can backfire and I feel really bogged down. I like the idea of eating half of it before and half of it after. I may have to try that!
I have a cereal bar and Greek yogurt early in the morning with coffee, then some dried fruit and nut trail mix about an hour before my workout and that works best for me.

I'll usually eat a banana w/ almond butter as a mid-morning snack (around 10:30/11ish) and then eat my lunch when I get back. I don't eat a morning snack otherwise.
Thanks guys. It helps to see what other people do. I had a nice sized snack around 9:30, and it did seem to help. I'll try to push it off a half hour next time, but I was starving this morning.
I eat an early breakfast (around 6:30) and then a snack around 10, usually something small like string cheese. I usually don't need much b/c I can't get in more than 4-5 miles at lunch
