(in Philly specifically? Or has anyone run one?)
We signed up months ago - I think in October or November and I am frustrated that the course map and accommodations have not yet been posted. We need to book our hotel! I guess I am frustrated at the lack of information.

I've done it 3 times in Chicago...the course changed and the race got bigger every year....so much so that it has become as big as the marathon....I've got no desire to run it again based on it's size. Chi was the first of it's kind, so it has had some years to work out the kinks...other cities may take a while. It's been a clusterfuck every year. But the swag is great, and the chocolate at the end is fun (used to be Ghiradelli, now it's a no name brand). When is the race? They're prob still working with the city to decide street closures, which is why they have no set course yet (just an assumption). Have fun running for chocolate.

The race is April 6. Someone (who didn't really seem to be associate with the race?)posted on FB that they were still waiting on approval from the city before anything can be official. H and I signed up for the 15K because it falls pretty well in line with our Half training plan. Anyway, I'm just getting antsy, I don't really have high exceptions as far as organization and I kind of expect it to be a clusterfuck.
I'm in. I was wondering myself about the course (and I think the start time is still tentative as well - man that's early). I had assumed they would just do the loop up through the East Falls bridge, but I'm not sure that works well for the 5k breakout. I hope it isn't a complete cluster, but I liked the jacket and thought it would be helpful to get me running this winter. The weather isn't cooperating, so my training has been spotty at best.
ETA: Apparently I haven't checked for a while since I see now they have separated the start times for the 5k and 15k. I don't know how I feel about that. It makes it difficult for me to want to carpool with the person running the 5k (I'm doing the 15k). Ugh.
