I need Lawyer recommendations.
Here's the the scoop.
Friends and I were there about two weeks ago on a trip with a chapter of Harley owners. During this trip, the gentleman that I ride with was issued a ticket for an accident that we were involved in on our way to Moab UT. He's got to go back in August to appear before the Judge, but wants to talk to a Lawyer, etc.
The accident, was, partly his fault. The group we were riding in, decided to take an unexpected and sudden left turn and failed to give the proper hand and turn signals, so when we came up the hill and around the corner, one of the riders in the group came to a sudden stop w/o warning. My friend did did as much as he could to avoid hitting her and to avoid flipping us off the bike. We ended up hitting her in the side saddlebag. She got pushed off to the side of the road, and the two of us were thrown from our bike. Needless to say that ended our vacation and I got to see the inside of a really remote clinic and St. Mary's in Grand Junction. And yes, we were all wearing helmets. And we all walked away.
He was issued the ticket because there was an accident with injuries.
So we are looking for recommendations. Don't necessarily want to play "Ennie Meenie Miney Moe" in the Yellow Pages, ya know??
Law Tigers. Definitely. They represent bikers in all situations. The Metier Law Firm is in Northern Colorado, but they'd know who to contact on the Western Slope. And they're tough.
