I decided to try the e.l.f. HD loose powder based on some recommendations in a previous post, as well as several blog reviews I read that it's nearly identical to the much more expensive MUFE HD powder.
So, I get to the e.l.f. website, and those crazy low prices are just too damn tempting. I know a lot of girls on here feel that e.l.f. is really low quality and you get what you pay for, which is what has kept me from ordering before, but I'm just curious and want to try for myself.
Sooo, here is what I got.
HD loose powder;
Cream blush in Vixen and Flirt;
Studio Blush in Fuschia Fusion (a dupe for NARS Angelika, which I have been tempted to buy on numerous occasions) and also Berry Merry and Peachy Keen (similar to Orgasm according to Temptalia);
Makeup Mist & Set (temptalia dupe list says this is exactly the same as MAC Fluid Fix+, which I just ordered, so I want to compare the two);
Liquid eyeliner in copper, silver and stardust;
Mineral eyeshadow in Girly (light pink);
Two Super Glossy Lip Shines;
Shimmering Facial Whip in Lilac Petal and Golden Peach; and
I'd be interested to hear what you think of the liquid liner. I tried it once and it was terrible. It sort of had a plastic-like consistency...as if it would peel off all in one piece, kind of like a very thin strip of puffy-paint, haha. Totally weird.
Go-Dawgs... where do you even keep your arsenal of beauty products?!
Um, yeah, I need to figure out a better way to store them. I have a train case, but it's stuffed pretty full now, and I also find it annoying to find things.

LOL I suspected as much... you have a lot of loot! Maybe you could enlist your H to fashion you a vanity? There's some crazy cute ones on pinterest.

That sounds totally weird.
The only thing I have from elf is one of those $5 eyeshadow book like palettes with the mirror. For what it is it's okay, but not my go-to makeup.

I used to use a lot of E.L.F. before I realized what you said before, you get what you pay for. I still like their gloss, brushes (from the pro line) & brush cleaners. The shadows are just translucent & I had the same experience with the liquid liner just peeling off. The powders are ok, but nothing special.

I've actually been pinning them on Pinterest We'll be renovating a bathroom hopefully in the next year, and a top priority is a nice vanity for me! Until then, I don't even have a good place to do my hair and makeup. Right now I do it in the living room in front of a big mirror we have on the wall.
