I love Snow White as Shae. Merida as Ygritte is an easy match, but actually very fitting.

Snow White as Shae is..an interesting choice. Sansa doesn't feel rebellious enough to be Rapunzel (and yes, I have read the books). Personality wise, I would almost swap those two.

I think they went mostly by appearance. I struggle with Ariel as Melisandre, because Ariel is so ridiculously naive and Melisandre is pretty much the complete opposite. Those big doe-eyes look out of place for the character.

(ETA - I really like the overall concept, though!)

I agree with Ariel. But the others feel spot on to me. Especially Aurora and Mulan. And I actually like Belle as Margaery Tyrell.

Belle and Tiana are my favorites. Merida is the perfectly obvious. Elsa looks great (I haven't seen Frozen, don't kill me) and Aurora, looks wise, is pretty great for Cersei (as is Lilo for Arya)

I heart Belle so hard. I started watching Once Upon a Time because she's in it. 

And you so need to see Frozen. It's so good!
