This girl right here!! OK, so 5 minutes of running in 15 second intervals over 25 minutes barely counts, but hey, its a start, right? I've got 1 more PT appointment next week, and she said if I felt OK I could give it a try. I was all like
I've never been so happy or excited to run in my life!
And now for some unwarranted parenting from someone that's been there: DO NOT OVERDO IT! You will be sore and miserable and cranky. Just enjoy those 15 seconds, one at at time. You'll get there
I do appreciate the reminder, @vtcupcake! It was super frustrating to only go 15 seconds, but I don't hurt today! I'm starting there and moving up in a couple of weeks to start couch to 5k again, so I'm going super slow. I don't want any more injuries!
