I've been using Philosophy's Hope in Jar Night. I think it's more of a renewal than a prevention. I really like it. I had previously used a Neutrogena one but felt I needed a little something more.
Do you have a Sephora near you that you could get a few samples of different kinds?
Not exactly a night cream, but Retin-A has done wonders for me and I use it at night. If you can't get a prescription, I'd try a non-prescription strength retinol. The science behind retinol is very strong.
Revive Moisturizing Renewal Cream wows me, but it is not MM.

This is what I was going to suggest, too. My insurance covers it, but if it did not, it costs about $40 a tube. One tube lasts quite a long time as you really only need a tiny drop.

Do you use a cream or gel?
I started the micro gel for acne and hyper pigmentation a few weeks ago and haven't been blown away yet. I know the full effect can take up to 3 months though so I'm waiting it out.

The cream. I'm in Chicago and didn't bring it. When I get home I'll find out the exact specifics (brand, strength) and email it to you.
Have you started flaking and peeling yet? Once that stage was over I really started thinking my complexion looked better. It took some time.

I think so. I had some redness/irritation and maybe a *tiny* bit of peeling along my jawline (where I was focusing application), but nothing dramatic. I have a follow up appt on Wednesday so we'll see what my derm says!
Oh sorry, I was on doxy and retin-a, pre-TTC, but had to go off of everything for pregnancy and breastfeeding. I plan to go back to my derm this summer once we fully wean.
I might try the philosophy, I tried that on my hand at sephora when I returned the other stuff.

I've used both (always micro though). It was never something that blew me away or lead to immediate results (although I do think it helped a bit with acne), but I'm really happy with the condition of my skin at almost 35, and I'd imagine my years of Retin-A use has a lot to do with that.

this makes me happy to hear! if it's as much about prevention, I'm ok with that.

v, you will always be 31 in my head.
I used it every other day and it took six months but my skin looked amazing. I suck at staying consistent though. Planning to work on being consistent again.
