I buy online when I'm too lazy to go to the store. Amazon prime makes it too easy. I don't even do subscribe and save. It's not about saving money. It's pure laziness.
We saved a lot of cash on our convertible car seat though. It was at Kohls. They price matched Sears. Then we got $40 Kohls cash. I don't remember what we saved but counting the kohls cash as cash it was a lot.
I'm too lazy to use coupons but admire those who do. I'll use them when I can but often I just can't be bothered to seek them out, which is not good! I joined amazon prime a few months ago and I'll buy stuff on there when the price is better and sometimes even when it's not, if it's just way more convenient.
What makes you buy online instead of going in store? The shear dread of taking two toddlers to the store with me.
Do you use coupons when buying online or use a cash back site like ebates? I use subscribe and save on amazon for our diapers. That saves us 20%. I signed up with ebates, but always forget that I have an account.
If so what is your biggest money back you have gotten...Mmmm. Nothing. I don't really shop for cash back.
What makes you buy online instead of going in store? Mostly convenience. I tend to only shop in store if I really want to peruse the options or if I need something super fast. And even then I generally scout things out online first.
Do you use coupons when buying online or use a cash back site like ebates? In person, I rarely use coupons. My mom even cuts some out for me all the time but I have a terrible time remembering to use them. I always say I'll try to be better about that but it hasn't happened yet. Online, though? I almost never order anything without some sort of deal - either something that came in my email, or if I don't have anything offhand I'll Google for coupon codes for the site before checking out. I do also have an Ebates account but only remember to use it occasionally.
If so what is your biggest money back you have gotten? My biggest Ebates cash back was only like $12, haha. But we also use our Amex card for groceries and gas because we get cash back for that - we have about a $900 credit on our Amex card just from doing that.
