Just wanted to send encouraging words. C25K turned me into a runner. For the first time in my life, it didn't feel impossible. Now it is my favorite form of exercise. Good luck!
Good luck. I did c25k and it really helped me! You can do it! Just take it slow, repeat weeks if needed, and don't go out too fast. Pace with come with higher mileage just worry about building stamina, strength and endurance. Just work the program slow and steady. Get good shoes too. Enjoy!
I just want to offer words of encouragement, too. I did it about 3 years ago and it changed so much in my life. It gave me confidence, changed my body, became a pastime. I can't say enough good things about it. Keep us posted on your progress. I hope you love it.

Thanks everyone for the words of encouragement. I was a runner before the baby and thought this would be a good way to ease back into it. I don't want to hurt myself by doing too much too soon. This program is perfect.
namasteak I just bought a nursing sports bra at target at it seems very supportive. I have 36DD right now too. When I get a chance I will take a pic of it for you.

I have done this several times, and I should do it too! Maybe I will join you, except we are supposed to get 10+ inches of snow on Monday.
I hate running though, like hate, hate it, and each time I completed the program, I gave up running. Maybe this would be the time I could stick with it?

My experience was that the beginning stages was easier to do on a treadmill, anyway, since it is time intervals instead of distance intervals. By the time you make it to the distance intervals, it should have thawed in NYC!

Sadly, I don't have access to a treadmill.
Bummer .
Your h is a professor at a university, right? Does he have access to a gym membership that you could take advantage of? Sometimes through schools you can get semester memberships, so it isn't as much of a commitment.

At this time, our budget doesn't allow for it, but hopefully once I return to work, I can take advantage of his school gym...I'm dying to get back to swimming.

As soon as I posted, I realized you've probably already thought of this. Sorry, dude!

I'm way bigger than that unfortunately. I plan to find some online this weekend though.
Enell has some pretty good sports bras for big bewbs.
I'll join in. I used to be a pretty hardcore runner, but haven't been able to run since I messed up my leg in a pretty bad accident a few years ago. I have been thinking about doing C25K, hoping that if I try to start back slowly, I'll be able to do it.
I'll do it! I started to do this last month, but things got kind of hectic with traveling and I kind of fizzled out. It might help me to check in regularly
I keep meaning to ask you a question. If my baby isn't crawling by the August Disney race, would you like my Diaper Dash entry? You can have it for free if DD isn't mobile yet.
Yes, thank you that is so nice of you to think of me.
Once the snow is gone, I am planning on doing this (another no treadmill person). I used to run all the time and it was actually relaxing to put on some tunes and run a couple of miles. 5K is just the right distance for me, not to long and not too short.

My 2nd day is going to be on Monday so I'd love to check in with you guys. I did it originally a few years ago and found out I love running but then was sidelined with an injury for way too long so I need to start slow and get back into it.
