I was doing really well with my training for my marathon, and then a few things got in the way and haven't been able to get in a whole lot of running. I've already built up once to 15 miles for my long run. And I definitely cannot go out the door today to do that again, let alone anything longer.
But I do have enough time to build again for a half marathon, maybe get a pr and have more fun! Also, I only paid $40 for the race so I'm really not losing any money by doing the half.
Half for sure. With a longest long run of 15 miles, you've set yourself up for an AWESOME half or a miserable full. You just can't force a good marathon if the training isn't there. Go for the half and have a fantastic time, hopefully nabbing a PR along the way!
