The last few runs its been calculating average pace wrong.
Today, for example, i ran 10 miles. My slowest mile was 9:32. Most of my miles were 9:00-9:10. Yet, when i uploaded it told me my average pace was 9:39. Huh?!?
I hit pause at lights and trains and other stops, and it pauses, but somehow, i guess its still taking that time into account? Thats my best guess.
YES! Holy shit mine is doing that too. And when I look at my splits they're all correct but then the total time will be like minutes over the actual total. It's really weird and I don't know why it's doing that. I was manually correcting the time for a while and then I quit because I put them in a spreadsheet anyway. It started happening right after my last half, on like Feb 11.
I'm guessing that there were times when you weren't looking at your Garmin she you slowed down, so your average is going to be a bit slower.
I dunno!
I only look at it when it beeps with the mile splits. And according to the uploaded data those were my solits. It never did this before, now it always does. I mustve changed a setting without knowing it? I dont even know??
To add, it looks correct on my garmin, and on the upload screen it shows the right time, but then when I go to look at the activity it's wrong. And I manually stop mine for all lights and trains.

Yes, thats it! And it just started doing it, maybe two weeks ago? I havent been running outside a ton. Maybe its garmin? Which one do you have? I have the 410cx. Thats so weird its happening to you too! Its annoying as hell! Lol

Yep! I have the 305, I haven't touched the settings, and I only run outside. The only thing I can think of is that I know they're in the process of upgrading the site and maybe something went weird, and hopefully it will fix itself when they finish.

Ugh maybe thats it. Ugh. I have inadvertantly changed settings, but i havent lately. Weird that not everyone has this problem? Or maybe not everyone pays attention to every detail of every run? Lol

Yeah, I have no idea. I haven't actually looked at the settings since it started so I'll do that and see if anything somehow changed.

Im pretty sure i fucked it up even more this morning lol if you fix it, let me know please,a nd ill do the same
I have no advice for you guys, but last weekend I ran with my 220 on my left wrist and my 305 on my right wrist, and although everything matched fairly well during the run, when I uploaded them, I got different distances (0.1 miles off) and different average paces and splits (which makes sense given the different distances) from one to the other. The uploaded data from the 220 matched what the 220 display said; the uploaded data from the 305 did not match what the 305 display said.
I originally did it because I hadn't realized that the 220 uses rounded paces, so I had been confused by the paces it was giving me. I mostly figured out what was going on there during the run, but then the uploaded data confused me a lot.

My garmin is completely frozen, so I haven't used it in a couple weeks (just put in my warranty ticket ), but my friend was complaining about a similar issue - I think it's something going on with Garmin Connect.
