I cut out sugar, grains, dairy, gluten and legumes in January, but not booze. However, I have cheated all week, and my stomach hasn't been the same. Starting Monday, we are going back to it, and my body, although will revolt for the first week, will be so so happy that I did it.

How do you keep up with so many diet restrictions while breastfeeding? I'm ravenous all. The. Time. I eat healthfully for the most part, but I think that restricting whole food groups would be am epic fail for me.
I've been thinking about this a lot lately, because I really want to get back to eating well. I'm in a limbo of wanting to do this, but not caring/feeling committed enough to actually follow through. Blah.

This is why I keep going back to dairy, gluten and sugar free eating. It's so hard to stick to it sometimes but my body just feels so much better on it.

I eat lots of meat, veggies, nuts and eggs...like a lot. I could easily eat two or three eggs for breakfast with bacon and sometimes a sweet potato. I did have to add dairy back in to up my calories, but I limit the amount I eat. Oh, and I did eat fruit, but I stuck with berries.

I didn't even realize I was sensitive to them until I cut them out and then cheated.

Same here. All the health issues I was having even aside from digestion, completely stop when I am on track. It was eye opening.
