I just am bothered by the fact that they still cant take responsibility for the fuck up. There were ways around this by maybe asking mods to use a beta format or even selecting users. They want to blame the vendor/host but they have had nothing but problems and could have resolved those issues by finding a new host. Five days to just now address that is kind of a long time period, they should have addressed it immediately and switched back to the original format if at all possible.

They rolled it out on the local boards first to "test" I thought. All they had to do was survey the local boards. Or, hell, even check their stats. From what I understand, the locals are dead, dead, dead and have been ever since the switch.
Their M&E skills are down there with their IT skills.
Am I the only one who continually annoyed by the fact that they think we have only had complaints the last 5 days? We have been complaining for years about various issues and have been totally ignored. Now they want to listwen? FU Michelle
I love how they blame this one specific vendor for their message board functionality, and yet don't mention the vendor who's in charge of their backups and backup recovery, who could've rolled back to the 8th, no harm no foul... hell, they could STILL roll back to the 8th and it wouldn't affect much, considering the constant thread deletion and shit.
Now if they were to apologize on their FB, I might go for it. "Their users are SO important to them" Uh huh, to their advertising revenue maybe.
They've just been spamming their FB page with stupid articles trying to get their hits back up. Did you get Mom flowers? Are you interested in Pinterest? Are you a Desperate Housewives fan? Where would you travel for your anniversary? Sex is best in your 50s.
All I can say about this whole thing is that if a project I was managing picked such a bad vendor, created a terrible design, ignored all testing, had a horrible implementation without a mitigation plan and went live with this many bugs I would lose my job.
