Apparently Thomas Jeffersons separation of church and state was to keep the govt out of religion not to keep religion out of govt
Oh, that's an old one.
But, really? Get rid of the constitution? The declaration has nothing to do with laws. What do they propose in its stead? Oh, yeah, the bible. Better work on my stoning arm (or, more realistically, I'd better work on outrunning stones).
Nitaw one candidate wants to abolish all the special school districts
Even the ones currently in existence?
Yes. Much of the discussion was on whether FSSD and WCS should merge to save money.
I was shocked none of them said we should keep FSSD since it is a convenient way of segregating most of the minorities in the county for grades K-8. The discussion was centered more on the fact there are a lot of duplicate services/administration and FSSD spend $13k/per kid vs. WCS $8k. They all failed to mention that FSSD has schools that are 60+% free/reduced lunch/ESL
