lol, I know. I woke up this morning and there was maybe an inch and it had stopped snowing. They pre-emptively closed and delayed schools around here, and there's basically nothing on the ground.
Yes same for us. are you in MA? Last week it was "2 feet" and we didn't even get a flake
I'm in coastal CT. I had sort of mentally built up for a storm and then I had to keep readjusting my expectations and then I woke up this morning to nothing! lol.
They never ever know what they are talking about. I was searching for a clip from this movie called "The Weather Man" with Nicholas Cage but I can't find a good one. Bascially everyone hates him for always getting the weather wrong and people throw tacos and shit at him.

Ya me too. To be honest, My kids are already going to school so late this year I was fine with another snow day. a day to relax and hang in and get the house in order. Oh well
I know, here it dropped from 6-12 inches predicted early yesterday to 4-8 by the afternoon, but around dinnertime we still got the call from our school district that school was cancelled today. Then the prediction dropped to 1-3 inches late last night, and we ended up with a lousy 2 inches - nothing worth canceling school for especially since we've already lost so many days. I'm even more annoyed because the adjacent district only called for a delay. I wish ours had waited to make the call until this morning but I think this winter has just messed with everyone's heads. Ugh.
My H is something of a weather nerd. he follows severals sites with weather models, etc. this storm just kind of stalled over us (VA) which is why we are getting the brunt of things.
Weather can be a tricky thing, because things can always shift at the last minute.
