All in all I was a little disappointed. There was not as much that I looooooved as previous award shows. But pretty dresses are still awesome, so here's my picks. Please add yours!
Best: I could've done without the headband, but she was just so damn charming and happy that I am ok with that. And she and the dress were gorgeous.
I liked this, but did it remind anyone else of a Disney villainess? Ursula? Maleficent? And I wish the black didn't end so abruptly when it met the illusion netting.
How is this woman heavily pregnant!?
It wasn't exciting, but it was executed really, really well. +10 for gorgeous hair. I had to pick between Amy Adams and Sandra Bullock for "basic but beautifully executed navy blue" and Amy's severe hair vs. Sandra Bullock's curls was the tiebreaker.
Worst: Ok, so this wasn't so objectively awful. But I really didn't like the way it fell on her chest, and it's so frumpy-seeming.
So many things wrong.
This isn't so very awful, as much as a waste of her good looks and a great color.

I am sort of over all the cut-to-the-navel dresses we've seen in the last 5-10 years. Lupita N'Yongo (sp?) is a gorgeous woman but with how low it was cut in front AND on the sides, I felt like she was one co-star hug away from being naked above the waist.
ETA - I felt the same about Kate Hudson's dress - beautiful, but does it always have to be cut SO low? Ribcage chic, I guess.
Best: Charlize Theron, Sandra Bullock, Jennifer Lawrence Worst: Sally Field (not awful, it just looked frumpy) and Liza Minelli (what the heck was that!!!)
I loved Viola Davis. Did NOT like Angelina or Julia.
I loooooved Camilla Alves. I would never wear a dress that structured or in pale pink, but I was fascinated by it. Apparently it was by an up-and-coming designer.
Lupita was gorgeous. I liked the headband but not the earrings.
Sandra Bullock looked really classy. Ditto for Meryl Streep.
And Sally Field. I said, "Wow!" out loud when she came out to present.
I was meh on Jennifer Lawrence's dress (looked appropriate and flattering, but kind of boring), but I loved her hair and makeup. The necklace was really wide-set, though, which I found a little odd. I know it went down her back but I think she should've had it more closed-up in front and then done a lariat-style down the back (LOL at John Stamos in the background):
I didn't really like Jennifer Garner's dress on TV, and as I'm looking at the pic those shoes are terrible:
I thought Gabourey Sidibe's dress was pretty when she came out on stage to present, but I'm not digging it in the photo:
WTF? No. Put on some pants. And his date needs to fix her zipper.
I loved both navy dresses for Amy Adams and Sandra Bullock
Also like Kate Hudson
I also liked Cate Blanchett, but better on film than in photos, I think.
I really loved Lupita's color, it just completely popped. A bit much on the neckline, but it works for her b/c she's so flat chested.
I was disappointed with Emma Watson, especially after her Golden Globes dress/pant thing (I think) that I really loved. Also Anne Hathaway - I don't think black is her color at all. Julia Roberts, just no. Angelina Jolie was just weird on her.
The only thing I really hated this year was the puufed, slicked back, Hillary Rodham Clinton-sequence hair--Naomi Watts, Portia do Rossi, and Jennifer Lawerence looked awful from the shoulders up
I really did not like Charlize's dress. I loved Kate Hudson's.
Whaaa??? How???
I also hated it. The way the dress came up into strange points on either side was weird, and the clear straps were ridiculously ugly. I just didn't get it.
Honestly, there was no dress I loved. I thought Lupita looked the best overall, but I hated the color. Sandra Bullock also looked great, but really, she only looked better than everyone else because everyone else looked so boring or washed out, not because it was a memorable dress.
Can we talk about Kelly Ripa? She is way too thin...does she have an eating disorder?
I remember seeing her as a guest on a talk show a few years ago. I can't reber which one. But she was sitting with one arm propped behind her , which made her collarbone jut out. The host actually stopped her on camera and was like "wtf is wrong with your collarbone?"

Yeah, she is really thin, alarmingly so. I try not to get too much into critiquing bodies (as much as I love critiquing dresses) though, so I'll just say I hope she's well, and I hope girls don't aspire to that shape.
I thought Lupita looked stunning - that beautiful blue against her gorgeous skin was perfect. I seriously love her. I also loved Kristen Bell's dress, though I'm not 100% sure I loved it on her - she was a little pale looking. And I loved Jared Leto's hair - he's so pretty!!
Worst dressed has to go to Whoppi Goldberg, hands down. But, i don't think she gives a shit.
I FORGOT ABOUT HER. I must've blocked it.
It looked like a terrible version of Julia Roberts' Golden Globes dress, which I didn't like the first time and liked even less in the sloppy version on Whoopi.
