I had it done when I was first diagnosed to see if my body would be able to handle the meds. Like you said, there's only the one lab that does it. The registration lady had trouble finding the right code in the system, but other than that it was no big deal. Just a regular blood draw and it was completely covered by insurance.

I take Remicade and had it done last year. The results were fine (ie keep taking same dose of Remicade). My insurance did not cover the whole cost of the test. I ended up paying a few hundred dollars out of pocket.
