Happy Thursday, H&F Gang! Got some good ones this week?
Today is my little brother's birthday. I am so thankful for my parents' "bonus" baby. Even though he's 9 years younger, he is one of my favorite people.
My in-laws are coming this weekend. Not looking forward to cleaning but looking forward to the kiddo getting extra grandparent love this weekend. (And babysitting so we can go to a basketball game)
I'm thankful that the end is in sight for my crazy work schedule. I'm also thankful that DH is so supportive- and especially that after a 12 hour workday last night I came home to a yummy dinner of roasted brussel sprouts, mashed potatoes and a veggie cutlet. It was wonderful to sit down to a home cooked meal, even if it was at 9pm :?
I am thankful DH is off on Saturday. He works retail and is rarely off on a Saturday. He has to work Sunday but shorter shift. We have a friend coming home whom we have not seen in 10 months so excited to see him. Thankful that I get paid time off from work. I am feeling a need to take a day off. Just feeling burnt out from people and their needs. Not sure when I will take the day but it will be very soon.
I'm thankful for my Physical Therapists and my Massage Therapist - they have played key roles in relieving my anxieties over my stress fracture. This injury has been the worst for me both mentally and physically so It's nice to have a team of people to support you.
I'm thankful for Daylight Savings time this Sunday - it means Spring is on its way:)
I'm thankful for the cruise that DH and I are going on in 2 weeks - I need the sun and warm temps!
We are having a tough time financially--owe a couple thousand to the IRS, which in turn means we have adjusted our W4s and now even less is coming in week to week on the paychecks. On top of that my husband has been patiently waiting to get new tires as his are so bad they are dangerous...but the cost of tires for his truck are almost $1000. So it has been tough...
with that said, I am still thankful that "tough" for us is still SO much better than millions of other people. Tough means no eating out, no vacation. It does not mean living in a tent outside or in a hospital to get treatments or with fear of being shot while walking down the street. We still have our health, our home, two vehicles, two steady paychecks. We are so fortunate and for that I am thankful.
I am thankful for my grandmother, today is turns 80. She has always been a very important person in my life, but even more after my mother passed. She is amazing!
I am also thankful for my son, who turns 3 on Monday. I never thought I could love a little boy as much I do.
I am thankful my body held up during my marathon training; no injuries or major illness. Of course, now I have a terrible cold, but that's ok.

I hit the top end of what I consider my "acceptable weight range" this week.
It's how much I weighed when I ran my PR marathon at the end of 2012 (runger!). I'm buckling down to get more into the middle of my range (the less weight I have to lug through Boston the better), but it's one less obstacle in my quest to regain some speed.
I'm thankful that my baby is happy and healthy and that my mood seems to be improving. I'm thankful my husband watched the baby so I could go to Soul Cycle last night. Now, I just need a job and life will be all good again...
I'm thankful that I get to see my great grandmother this weekend, she turned 99 this year and has had a tough time health wise this year. I'm also thankful for my grandmother who is the best roll model I could ask for and probably the smartest person I know.
Thankful for yoga Thankful for my coffee this am Thankful for our rain today. Nice day to get cozy Thankful I got my run in even if it was cut short before the storm Thankful for the Oreos I had the other day. Sooooo good

What a great perspective. I needed to read this today and remind myself this. Good luck to you guys
I'm thankful for daytime highs in the 20s. I actually feel motivated to head out after work knowing that I won't completely freeze on my run.
I'm thankful for my health. I was a little scared about something came up recently, but I spoke with my doctor yesterday, and things look fine. I'm also thankful that my family is healthy. We have family friends who are dealing with horrible illnesses right now. I pray they make it through successfully.
I am always thankful for my DH and DS. They are my loudest cheerleaders, especially when I'm not believing in myself.
I'm thankful for my Physical Therapists and my Massage Therapist - they have played key roles in relieving my anxieties over my stress fracture. This injury has been the worst for me both mentally and physically so It's nice to have a team of people to support you.

I'm thankful for the cruise that DH and I are going on in 2 weeks - I need the sun and warm temps!
We also depart for our cruise this month (end of March). Where are you going? We're doing the Cozumel loop. This will be my first cruise experience, and I'm excited!
I'm thankful that the weather cooperated this past weekend and we got to enjoy a beautiful day outside at the Mardi Gras parades with L.
I'm thankful that a slew of local 5K's start up beginning this weekend. I'm excited for some warmer weather and racing!
I'm thankful that my little sister and a friend are coming down the weekend after next to visit. It's so nice to see family and it's a rare treat since we live 1,000 miles from home.
I'm thankful for jump ropes at the gym. I've been jump roping at the gym a few times. Omg! I love it! It reminds me of being a kid when I would just jump rope forever in my driveway. I also used to pogo stick. Hmmmmm, maybe I should purchase a pogo stick!!
Due to sadlebred posting about her tooth dilemma, I'm giving renewed thanks for my dental implant. Having a tooth missing in the front of my mouth wouldn't be fun.
Giving thanks for Lent and all that it means for us.

shauni27 - as venice2007 said, this is a really well put and humbling perspective. Wishing you guys the best. It sounds like you are being responsible & thankful while taking control of your difficulty.

I'm thankful that we are getting into a routine. DS is 5 weeks, DH's broken arm is healing, and he is able to help me more. I'm feeling like we are getting the hang of being parents to a newborn.
Hopefully I'll be cleared to run at my follow-up next week!
I am thankful for my DH taking care of DD this morning so I could get an extra hour of sleep. And also or finally getting the stroller squared away so we can start going for walks! (Not the same as running...but I will take what I can get for now!)
I'm thankful that we spring forward this weekend! Yay for more daylight!
I'm thankful for my job, with co-workers I love. I have to be in Austin Sun-Wed, but I'm going with my 4 favorite co-workers (one of which is my boss), and we're going to South by Southwest. I'm actually really looking forward to it!
I'm thankful that after many years together, by wanderlust has finally rubbed off on DH. He's so much easier to talk into big trips these last few years. I'm having so much fun planning our 2 weeks in Italy!
I am thankful that I received a phone interview (that was round 2) to potentially be considered to be a Spinning Master Instructor. Honestly, I am so honored to have made it this far and for that, I am thankful.

I'm thankful that the gym picked me to be the aquatics director this summer. It's going to mean a crazy amount of work and I'm already panicking a little over all that, BUT, we could use the extra money and it'll be so neat to see my ideas come to life with (hopefully) some level of success.
In a few hours I will be thankful for good pain drugs after oral surgery. I will also be thankful for the Breyers vanilla ice cream that is in the freezer that I bought last night. I may also be thankful for the Talenti Salted Caramel "ice cream pops on a stick" that I got, too. Oops.
I LOVE pogo sticks!!! My sisters and I used to jump in our driveway for hours on end, and I remember thinking how cool I was when I could go hands free. Maybe I'll put one on my wish list.
Thankful that things are working out with the new job -- totally overwhelmed with a 4hr/day commute + moving to new apt + new job + ultra training, but it'll all work out.
Also, very thankful (at the moment) for a Saturday in the mtns where I can completely ignore the fact we're moving in 10 days and nothing is packed. May regret that decision in 10 days but eff it...I want to play in the snow with friends!
