Puking on Alcide, fairly predictable, but funny nonetheless.
The fire monster is an interesting twist.
Again, why the fairy storyline?
Tara should have left Hoyt alone.
Was Alcide changing in the last scene?
Jesus coming back as a severed head with his lips sewn shut is just creepy. I wonder what Lafayette's storyline is developing into. I really want him to be happy.
The only thing I can say is it took them how long to have something from the plot of book 5 happen in the plot of season 5? At least the other seasons had some of the books in them. This doesn't at all. I am such a book nerd that I am growing increasingly pissed at Alan Ball for calling it True Blood and not making it like the books at all.

I'm still not loving this season. Is Luna really dead? Who's hunting shifters? I'm interested in Lafayette's story, too. I hated when Jesus died. I love that they brought back Lafayette's mom. I just want Sookie and Alcide to get it on already. This season is deficient in the sexy department.
I think they need to cut 2 storylines. I don't even care which 2. But they have too much going on. They'll never be able to tell all of these separate stories well in one season.
And Eric and Alcide need to never wear clothes.
:Y:
But an especially :Y: to Eric and Alcide never wearing clothes.
Also--I found the books to suck (haha). I don't care if they never reference them again.
I was irrationally disturbed that whoever is hunting Supes shot Luna, Sam and then tried to shoot Emma. I don't know why but I really didn't like that.
I loved Jesus' head talking to Lafayettes mom. She's so cray.
i have to check in to register my disappointment at not seeing alcide and sookie get it on. ::sad panda face:: there have been a crap ton of boobs this season, but so far, no naked alcide. this is UNACCEPTABLE!

Am I lost when Lafayette's mom didn't find it strange that a head with sewed up lips was talking to her - and she understood him? Did I miss some part here where she's in on all this?
I think they're pointing toward Salome too much on her freeing Russel. Could it have been Nan? The woman Doug 'saw' was sort of like Nan. I don't remember if she wore the necklace though.
Loving Sookie's sas in this episode. At least we got some shirtless Alcide for a few seconds.
Do you think Jason's going to dig up his parents to see if they were bitten by vamps? It was 20 years or so ago so unlikely you could tell. Was Gran part fairy too?
What was with Alcide at the end? Changing?
Finally enjoyed Tara 1% more than the last couple episodes.
I think Bill, Eric and Alcide need to take their shirts off for a whole episode just to make it up to us for the lack of sexytime in these first 3 episodes. And that is all.

She's crazy. She takes pretty much everything in stride. Jesus was her nurse before he died.

Ah, thanks. I forgot about Jesus being her nurse. I though she had somewhat hopped off the major crazy train and cleaned up a bit - then I realized I was confusing her a bit with Tara's mom.
I loved Sookie's "boot and rally" monologue. And, speaking of nudity, my H remarks as we watched the Jason and Sheriff Andy wake up naked, "I see TrueBlood continues the streak of men not wearing pants."
