What are you eating after these intense workouts? How long are you waiting to eat after these intense workouts?
Eating the proper foods can aid in recovery. I use Endurox R4 for workouts that last longer than 90 minutes. It has a 4/1 carb, protein ratio. You should drink this within 30 minutes or less after your workout.
