Possible Derby party dress. What color hat?

Not the most perfect dress but it was only $29. "Taupe" color. I gave nude wedges and nude Mary Jane heels. What color hat?

I think navy would be pretty with the taupe.

LOVE these. Where from? I am willing to spend a little more on the hat since the dress was cheap.

In my mind I was thinking the likes of #1 was what would go best.

I can kind of see a bright turquoise, or even navy.

It's the lobby of my apartment building. It was built in 1928.

Side question: I've lived in KY most of my life and every clothing store has a million derby style hats for sale in the spring. Do stores in other areas do this too? Because I'm really not sure for what else you might need a fancy hat.

I think the closest thing we may have near  LA is in Del Mar, but the outfits do not look nearly as cute.
