She's still moving but seriously, it's not much. As I'm writing this I just felt a little squirm down low so I know she's ok ok, but man has the movement changed.
She's always been super chill (which also worries me, but that's a different story), but lately I might feel 15-20 movements all day, if that, and it's usually her sticking her little butt out and pushing on my belly with it. I can't drink sugary stuff (diabetes) and cold water doesn't phase her. Laying on my side doesn't really do much.
Anyone else near the end or recent graduates notice this? I've had weekly non stress tests since 35 weeks and she's always super sleepy but heartbeat is fine so I know she's alright. Does a lack of movement mean anything? I also have an anterior placenta, but I don't know if it makes a difference this far along.
Getting close to my due date is making me extra anxious!

If I remember, they really run out of room at the end so their ability to move lessens in the last few weeks. So if you feel her, but the movements aren't as big or aggressive as before, that's probably why.
Definitely less aggressive but also less frequent. Though, ironically enough, sometimes when I think I'm worried about her she starts moving. Case in point - I post this and now she's squirmy. Girl knows how to mess with her mommy.
My son really dropped his movements starting two days before labor. Apparently some people think it's because they're saving up their energy for the big event.
Less kicking and more squirming. Lots of sticking his butt out, pushing his head down, stretching his feet into my ribcage. Have you actually sat down and done fetal movement counts? I noticed that when I concentrate on counting the movements, I feel a lot more than if I'm not really paying attention. I bet you'll find you easily get 10-15 movements in less than an hour during active times (like after dinner or when you lay down in bed).
If you're worried, then call your doctor. It's really no big deal -- better to be safe than sorry!
Have they checked the fluid level lately? It's probably that she's just running out of room in there.
They did last Wednesday. I was on the machine for a non stress test for an hour and she was pretty quiet. I mentioned to my OB that she's extra chilled out so she said we should check her fluid just to be sure. I don't know specifics, but OB said fluid looked good. I think she may just be running out of room. She was never much of a party animal in there to begin with.

Honestly, I was a mess about movement. I feel like my baby never moved as much as other people's (never woke me up or kept me up all night). Towards the end they are meant to settle into a quiet period anyway.
My baby probably only did a 10 movements once a day towards the end and came out fine. Don't worry.

I am not there yet but I was a little frustrated with my OB this week when she told me that if I don't feel about 6 movements every 2 hours I should be concerned…how the hell am I supposed to track that?
If you are ever really worried, you need to get checked out. I always said I wish I had a window in there. IME, movement does slow at the end when they are engaged in the pelvis and running out of room. It also depends on fluid levels as well. DD2 had a ridiculous amount of fluid, and never stopped moving or driving me crazy. But yes, normally when people show up for decreased fetal movement, those little jerks start going crazy. Murphy's law and all that.

Honestly Rugby I wouldn't be too concerned. I literally would go all day without noticing any movement then she would have a bit of a party between 8-10pm then nothing again. I definitely went hours during the day without feeling her move. As long as you feel her move a bit each day you know he/she is alive and kicking. That's the way I looked at it in the end otherwise I would have been running to Emerg every two seconds.
I know it's hard not to panic though. I used to beg her, "please baby, just move, tell me you are ok". DH thought I was crazy.
