About an hour or so ago I had a tiny bit of spotting. Only when I wiped. It was red, but a very small amount. No cramping. I do have some pulling feelings/twinges on my left side. But I've had those before. They aren't painful. Since the one time, I've had no more spotting at all.
I called the on-call dr. and he said there's nothing he can do over the phone and it's up to me if I want to come in to be seen.
I had my a/s on Thursday and everything was good at that point. The tech (or maybe it was the dr) did mention my placenta was in the front? But they didn't voice any concern. I mentioned that to the on-call dr and he said something about a low lying placenta.
Dh and I did have sex this morning. So maybe it's from that?
I don't know. I'm not sure what to do. Dh thinks the on-call dr. would have directly said to come in, if he thought there was a problem.
***Update***
Sunday around dinner time I had some more spotting. It freaked me out more than the spotting on Saturday because it had been over a day since dh and I had sex. I was out of town with my mom and sister, so I ended up telling them I was worried. They took me to the hospital. I had an ultrasound and we saw the baby. He was moving around, and his heartbeat was good.
I talked to the nurse at my dr's office on Monday morning, and she said it's not abnormal to have bleeding up to 2 days after sex. So that was reassuring. Since Sunday I've had no spotting. And I'm pretty much 100% certain I'm feeling him move now. So that's incredibly reassuring and wonderful.
Was the spotting more than a teaspoonful? That is the advice I was always given when I was pregnant with my son. If the spotting is less than a teaspoon it is fine. More than a teaspoon and it is worth getting checked out.

It was less than a teaspoonful.
Most of me knows it's probably nothing to be worried about, and mostly likely due to having sex. But I'm a worrier.
Glad to know I'm not the only one panicking about spotting! Happy to hear things look OK and I'll be storing this in the back of my brain for later if it ever happens to me. I would worry the same way if I was spotting two days after sex!
