I am heading out to do a 5 mile race with a friend and bostonmichelle! Did I mention I have never run 5 miles at one time before?

I figure this will be a good jumping point for my half training! I will report back later

That was a good run in my books. 57:42 finishing time and pretty consistent splits. That was the longest race I've ever done. Melmel came in shortly behind me. It was a windy day but the sun was shining the whole time. We got some awesome finisher medals from all 3 races that magnet together. I'll post pics when I get home.

58:59 for me! Goal was under an hour! It was great. We ran most of it together, then I had to slow down, but she kept on trucking along. <

) I wore capris and a t-shirt (I think it was about 33-34 degrees out) and wished I wore a tank. I was so hot.

Considering less than a year ago I was crying because I couldn't run for 3 minutes, I am very proud of what I have accomplished. I can't wait to go even further. Thanks for the support, everyone!
