I only have my NT/12 week scan on Tuesday. I am 12 weeks today.
I was looking at the Jojo Maman Bebe website. I love their stuff, its usually well made. Anyway in the clearance section they had the cutest Christmas babygro (onesie? I think). And it was only £3 and delivery is free. So I ordered it.
I ordered it in 0-3 months (I am due late September) and figure I can always cut the feet off if baby is too long. Or I can sell it on eBay. But I had to have it. Now Tuesday needs to really go well because this will only be delivered after my scan and I am not sure how I will handle that delivery if it is bad news.
I bought a summer baby girl outfit before I was even pregnant last fall, just hoping id get pregnant with a baby girl who would be born in the summer. Luckily she's due 8/1. Good luck at your scan!
It isn't a bad thing! Nothing you buy or don't buy is going to affect the outcome of the pregnancy, but it could affect the outcome of how cute baby's clothes are next winter! Good purchase
I know it's scary, but NOTHING YOU DO (or don't do) will cause a loss. I was in the same place a few months ago, and felt like I was going to "jinx" it. You won't. You can't.
And honestly, no human being with a heart could pass up that cute little outfit!!! :-)
Thanks Everyone! DH and I are ready for tomorrow. We both have a gut feeling that tomorrow is going to go well. Things are different to last time. But, if they don't go well we have a plan in place to deal with it. We have looked at our schedules, planned when we would do the surgery. DH will go with me this time, etc. I just feel like that helps. Last time the shock of it all was terrible, this time I feel like if we can lessen the shock then we will be able to cope better.

That is so cute. I see nothing wrong with buying things early if you really like it. I bought a onesie in Spain in November when I was only 8 weeks along because we were at an event where I could buy the thing I wanted without having to buy it online and pay out the nose for European shipping, and still going strong here.
blushing, this is so cute! I might order one for mini loira, but am due end of August so not sure if I should get the 0-3 or the 3-6 (H and I are smaller people so am expecting a smaller baby)...
I get you on the plan. When H and I went in to the EPAU to determine IUP, I brought a hospital bag with a change of clothes and a book, and had my work BFF all ready to tell our boss that I was in for another surgery. H thought I was a little nuts, but I liked to feel prepared since part of the trauma of the last time was the fact that everything happened so quickly and was very much out of my control.
I was thinking of you on my way home from work, actually, and remembering you had your NT tomorrow. I will be sending you good vibes for it, but I have the excellent feeling you won't be needing them.
