Mine was the best I have had in a long, long very long time. It was very nice out and I spent a lot of quality time with H and enjoyed walking the pups and doing some random things around the house.
We ended up seeing friends on Friday night for dinner and drinks. Saturday and Sunday were just spent at home relaxing. It was exactly what we needed. Like doglove, I feel like it was one of the best weekends I've had in a while. So, I'm pretty happy about that.
It was good. Spent Saturday with the kids. Went out to a open mic/poetry slam sorta thing on Saturday night. It was fun. Came home to my littlest one all heartbreakingly saying "you leab me" when he woke up after I got in the door
Sunday we went and checked out a house. It's on a small dead-end street, super quiet and new carpet/hvac. Nice owner and once he sends me the application, I will probably apply for it.
Like doglove this wad one of the best weekends I've had in a long time. Friday I went out with the guy I'm dating (M) and met some of his friends. I told him in advance that I was nervous and his only question was what he could do to help me feel more comfortable. I ended up telling him that night that I'm not dating anyone else (he already told me the same). So now I'm exclusively dating him.
Saturday I got stuff done and enjoyed the gorgeous weather, then went out with friends in the evening. Yesterday I went over to M's place and we hung out for a good chunk of the day, then I had dinner with a friend. I was in a great mood the whole weekend.
I know PS, stbx said he was very unhappy that I left on Saturday. As I was getting my coat on, he was all "I get my shoes on!" and was so sad when I told him he couldn't come with me.
My weekend was pretty fun. I spent Friday bumming around Vegas. Enjoyed some great food, good weather, and people watched. I arrived back home at Midnight. Saturday was good, helped my BIL out, toured some houses, and went out to dinner with friends. Sunday was the best though. Got up early to watch the Wales Vs England rugby game at a pub. It was fun. Then walked around and dined outside with my neighbors. It was one of the best weekends I've had in a long time.
It was good. Last week was hectic with repair guys and an afternoon with the exterminator (that is another story I have to tell you guys), and just a lot in general going on. Good news was I got a lot of cleaning done so Saturday I didn't feel like I had to clean all day. It was warm enough Friday to take A and the dogs for a walk after work, which they all loved.
Sunday I scoured the kitchen while H and A napped, so I feel good about that. I also made myself an awesome dinner last night, veggie "turkey" cutlets, baked potatoes and green bean casserole.
I was up until 4:45 sewing a wedding dress. I cannot wait to have a break from this thing. It is really really pretty though. I've got a few last minute things to do today and then I'll be rid of it!
Hugs and high fives to those who need one or both! Yuck sickness but hooray weather and dating.
I had a nice weekend. It was the first time in awhile that I haven't had a date on a weekend, and I got to do a lot of "me" things. This changing weather has lifted my spirits considerably. Amazing what that will do. And it's supposed to be like this all week! We can actually see the roads! I am not worried about falling on my ass anymore!
I spent some time last night looking over photos from a year ago. Instead of making me feel depressed (because I have gained some weight back) it made me feel hopeful, because I know I can get there again and at the time, I thought I had so much more work to do and I wasn't done. But man, I looked fab! Can't wait to get there again. Paired with the new apartment, I think the spring will be a godsend.

neonpink and partiallysunny, her bridals are today so I'll have pics soon! I just treated myself to a bunch of nail polish and hair stuff and now I am going to take a nap.
