I always get Pad Thai but that post intrigued me too. How does Thai Pad See Ewe compare? The menu at our usual place mentions a sweet sauce which is throwing me off.

It is a sweeter sauce, which is what I like about it. It isn't sweet like sweet and sour sauce though, I am not sure how to describe it. I enjoy the wider noodles and lack of bean sprouts.

ditto this. I got mine with some heat though. It was so.good.
Tragically, I don't have any Thai restaurants near me, so any time I go it's always a struggle to pick between this and Pad Thai with chicken. Pad Thai usually wins out, I admit, but I love the Pad See Ew too.
The sauce is sweet but it totally works. It's kind of a brown sauce, usually. Really good with broccoli!
