Since we (DH) painted the cabinets white a few months ago, the previous non-matching one has been staring me in the face. DH also wants me to pick a paint color for the kitchen yesterday. And he just went to Home Depot to pick up deck paint/stain. I married a machine, seriously.
So I think I like this backsplash. I wanted glass subway tile but it is more than we want to spend and DH feels like we would have to get a tile guy (out of his comfort zone). He feels better with the sheets. And then maybe light gray on the walls? I am still hesitant when it comes to paint colors because of my baby blue living room. Lol
I think it's too small. I don't like those skinny tiles as a general rule (though that's a personal preference), but I think they're nicer when they're longer.
I don't care for it. I don't like the darker tiles mixed in with the clear glass/white. And I shudder at the thought of that much grout in a kitchen backsplash. Cleaning it sounds horrible. I would look at larger tiles.
I don't like it, sorry. But I am not in to much silver in decor, admittedly.
I actually think the existing backsplash is fine.
It is brown and cream with black countertops and white cabinets. I cringe every time I see it.
There was one other one that was just called glacier ice in mini subway tile that we were debating on too. I don't know. I hate making these decisions.

I like this option much more. I think it will give you more flexibility on paint options too.
The dark tiles are stainless steel, which is why DH is pulling for this one. Lol. He said I get final decision, which I hate. I could easily sit on this decision for another year and just complain daily about the one I hate.
So if I went with plain one, which is maybe blue or maybe green? Called glacier ice, which color would you think for walls? Still light gray or something else? White family?
It looks like gray would still work for the walls, but it's hard to say what shade without seeing the tiles in person. They just look kind of milky whitish on my screen.
The color in person is similar to the glass tiles in the first backsplash. DH says it is green, I keep saying blue.
I am now telling DH we should just suck it up and buy the glass subway tile I want and hire a tile guy. Lol, so indecisive. I should have this all sorted out in a year or two.
Pagas, love it! That is what I want with much lighter tile. I found an ice mist glass tile on mytilebacksplash.com that I think I love.
