I have a quilt that I want to hang on the wall, since it's cute and we obviously won't be using it as a blanket. It will go on a curtain rod, and I want to hang it over the glider, which is next to the crib. This will put the left side of the quilt about a foot away from the right side of the crib--is that too close? Once she is able to stand, obviously the mattress will be lower, but will it be tempting to try to reach out and grab it? Not sure if she would ever be able to reach it, but I wouldn't want her to try to jump/climb out of the crib.

IMO, once she's that big, the quilt will just be part of the wall to her, and most likely won't pose a threat. If you're that concerned, choose a different spot for it.
