Where is everyone this week? Anything fun going on?
QOTD: Are you following the coverage on the Malaysian Airways plane that has practically disappeared? What do you think happened to it? Do you believe any of conspiracy theories currently out there?

Hi. Nothing too fun today. Today I'm filming a 2 minute promo for a 3 hour business course I'm teaching. I have to work on what I'm going to say...have an idea but want to practice. Other than that...typical week filled with read and writing for my course and then going to my CBT course on Friday.
QOTD: I'm just looking at one article a day in the newspaper. No clue as to what happened but it's really sad.

Hello! Just hanging around. It was a state holiday yesterday, so it feels like Monday to me today. DH is headed to Melbourne for a concert tomorrow night so it'll be a Rom Com night for me. Yippee!!! Not much else going on. We finally got some rain, but not nearly enough for me. I love living close enough to the ocean to hear it on clear nights, but it's no substitute for rain. And I need rain!
QOTD: I heard about disappearance, but I'm not speculating on what happened until we are told more. It is odd about the two passengers with stolen passports, especially since Interpol knew about it and didn't bother flagging those passports. I know investigators don't like coincidences, but sometimes things really are coincidence.

Not much going on here either! I'm at work, and then off to yoga this evening.
I went grocery shopping on Saturday, and used my credit card. Didn't use it at all on Sunday, and went to the ATM to get money on Monday. I noticed that my credit card was missing. Didn't panic, figuring it was just at home somewhere. Checked online and there weren't any new charges, so I didn't want to cancel it unnecessarily.
I decided to call the store this morning to see if they had it, and thank goodness they do!!! So I won't need to cancel that one and order a new one. Such a relief!!!!
QOTD: I am glued to the coverage. I just can't stop reading, because I am just so baffled about how a plane can completely disappear. At this point, I don't know what to believe. I do think the stolen passports is a coincidence also. It probably happens often, this just happens to be a time when it was discovered. I just hope something is found soon so the poor families can have closure. It's so terribly sad, and it'd be terrible to have no answers about what happened to your loved ones
Good afternoon!! We had an appointment today to pre-register for daycare..which really means that we give them all of our information and promise to send in the birth info once baby arrives and then we pray that we get a spot in the daycare relatively near where we live or else I will end up being a SAHM because we won't be able to afford a nanny.
QOTD: I follow the basics of what is going on and it is really freaky and sad. I cannot imagine what the families are going through right now. I also am amazed with all of the tracking devices and satellites and what-not that a big airplane can just disappear into thin air. I think that is the freaky part for me. I know that planes crash and accidents happen, but usually a passenger plane doesn't just disappear, right???
Nothing much going on here, I'm at work and planning on finally ordering stuff that's been in my amazon basket for ages (just got new credit card that took weeks arriving).
QOTD: I have followed it and it's really bloody scary to think a plane can just vanish like that. The thought it's most probably accidental (I think the passports are a coincidence and eyerolled the internet going mental at the fact that one of them is ZOMG EYERANIAN) makes it scarier IMO. The poor families must be in bits.

Hello!
Sunny day out today. We had our play group this morning and LO is napping but they are doing construction in our building so I will go crazy if they wake her.
qOtd: super scary and I have huge fear of flying and I fly next month.

Beautiful day here! Though there was a heavy frost this morning.
Got grocery shopping done this morning and dd2 is napping now. Might do a bit of gardening in a few mins, once I finish watching last week's episode of The Good Wife.
QOTD: I've been keeping an ear out for the news but not actively searching for updates. It's so bizarre. However, when an expert said that modern planes don't just fall out if the sky I think they are forgetting about the Air France flight a couple of years ago that went down in the middle of the Atlantic en route from Brazil to Paris...
Gorgeous day here! Didn't read the blog post right and went to my Crossfit gym when it was closed. Wasn't too bothered as I got a long walk in with DS2 in the pram. This weather makes me want to live here a few years longer.
Just booked little family trip to Dublin for Easter weekend. Will visit some friends and get some city time in. Might take kids to the zoo if weather is decent. We've already seen Dublin so it'll be nice to have a relaxed visit.
QOTD: Trying not to read too much coverage. Feel terrible for the families. Blows my mind that this can happen nowadays. Thought we were far past this with technology.

Hi there, I am doing quite well. I have a lot going on here in the coming months. We'll see how it goes.
QOTD: I did hear about it. My mom has been following it regularly and telling me about it. Personally, I haven't read a ton about it but I know the general details of the situation. I don't have any conspiracies and I will rely on the information from investigators as they analyze it. As with that Oscar Pistorius case in which I am relying on the decision-making of the judge, so in this case, I will wait to hear from reasonable experts. It is, indeed, very tragic. I do hope that they are able to uncover evidence and solve the mystery.

Hi. I defended my dissertation on Friday (!), will start my new job on Monday (!), and in this in between time have about 5048826348 things I need to get done and don't have time to do. So I'm not hanging around here very often. I also don't know when things are going to get better. In April, maybe?
QOTD: Honestly, it has been days since I've watched the news (see explanation above). I heard the plane crashed, I've heard some things about Ukraine on the news on the radio as I've been driving, and in a roundabout way I've heard something is going on in Venezuela, but that's it. Given that it's taking them so long to find any parts of the plane, I'm guessing it broke apart / exploded mid air, meaning that the parts would be strewn over an immense area, which would explain why they maybe haven't found any parts yet.

Thanks I still have to publish (requirement here in Germany for the degree), so it'll be a while until I actually have the title, but I'm nearing the end, at least.
