Anyone have any this morning??
Mine-we put it up on Facebook last night. It feels surreal. And a lot of random people are really happy for us. I was kind of surprised. (And amazed by how many people from highschool that I am friends with that got the joke, lol.)
Yay! You always feel so warm and fuzzy after putting good news on Facebook like that.
My random is that we have this hole in the trim of our house that woodpeckers caused. There has never been any bugs or anything in it... until now. A huge amount of wasps decided to build their nest inside! I'm so scared of bees/wasps. Anyway, thankfully, these aren't aggressive, my H was up on a ladder around them trying to see if he could take care of it, which he could not. I called the wildlife removal people to come out, and am awaiting their call. Ugh, cause i want to spend money on this right now!
ETA: he found the wasps! There were three separate colonies behind three of our upstairs shutters. They're all sprayed, and he sealed up the other areas and treated the whole house. Glad to have those suckers gone!
My H brought home a sticker from work that said "Additional parts inside", and stuck it on my belly and then we made a sign that said "Out of Stock, Labor Day, 2014" that he held.
In my first tri, H was positively DYING to share the news on FB. I kept telling him that was a bell you couldn't unring, and I would be fine with it at 13 weeks. Then by the time I was comfortable sharing the news publicly, he seems to have lost interest LOL. We planned to put a sign in front of our dog that says "big brother" (which GPer has a siggy like that? There's a cat too.)
My random is that I'm on spring break this week! I'm staying home because H didn't have any vacation time, but it's really nice. I've been exhausted and overworked for the past month, so I'm catching up on rest and on work. I have been really active so far this week: running, walking the dog, doing yoga, and lifting weights. It feels good after getting into a bad habit of being sedentary for awhile.
Same here, rbp. We kept saying we were going to put something on FB and now I'm 6 months along and it feels kind of like... meh, maybe we'll just stick up a picture when he/she arrives.

I announced on S&B today & my entire post was a bust. It was pinspiration Tuesday. I posted my pin but forgot my own picture. Omg lol FAIL!
I was getting a migraine last night so I had a couple sips of coffee. It's the only thing that helps these days. I was up until midnight. Ugh. It's going to be a long day.

Even though I am over the moon excited to meet this baby, I can't help but feel a bit sad about not being pregnant anymore. Certain parts I won't miss (putting shoes and socks on is a chore) but feeling those baby movements inside of me is so thrilling. At this point, even a limb in the rib is a reminder that I'm growing a human. If I think about it too much, I get weepy. I feel so lucky to get to experience this.
All that being said.....I really hope I don't go far past 40 weeks. I can only imagine how uncomfortable I will get over the next few weeks!

My random - to Tropical Smoothie Cafe - don't make the hungry pregnant lady wait an extra 10 minutes for her 1/2 sandwich, when she has to remind you she is waiting for it, and you say "oh sorry, we are short-staffed" - that excuse doesn't cut it WHEN I'M THE ONLY CUSTOMER IN THE STORE!
Add in that I'm irritated again at work and not looking forward to my GD test next week - I'm having bitchy resting face the rest of the day.

@kirkette, it might be your SI joint. Was it to the right or left of your spine, about a quarter size dimple? If it happens again, you can get an SI belt to help hold your pelvis together and alleviate pain.

My random: I've been much less nauseous lately. Actually feeling somewhat normal. Well, hold that thought.
Yesterday, I was sitting in a cafe, reading and drinking a green juice. My stomach had been bothering me all afternoon. As I was finishing up, I started getting really hot and nauseous. I felt like I was going to throw up. I practically threw money at my server and ran out. I started looking for trash cans, in case I had to throw up. I canceled the class I was supposed to teach, and came home. I slept from 7-10pm. Then got up and hung out with H for a while. I had some cashews, water, and saltines. Then went back to bed till 8am.
I've also been having some pain on my left side of my uterus. It comes and goes. Any clue what that's about.

No it wasn't. The popping was actually a relief.
Ok, just wanted to throw it out there b/c SI pain is so common in pregnancy. I meant if *the pain* happens again, not the popping; the pop usually helps b/c it's the sacrum going back in place.

Last night, as I was about to fall asleep, one of the joints popped in my pelvic area. This has = FREEDOM! I can now roll over, and roll out of bed with ease. I can cross my legs again. I basically feel like a G-rated version of Sharon Stone in Basic Instinct.
I totally did this a few weeks ago. Like PP mentioned, I could totally feel a vertebrae was off in my sacrum. I did prenatal pilates and it finally FINALLY rolled back into place. You could hear it through the floor. I told h like 20 times that day how good I felt. My hips still feel so much more amazing when I think about it.
That being said, I made a chiro appointment for next week because I can't get my upper back to release (I am afraid to twist and bend too much andi sure am not asking h for help when pg!). My regular chiro also specializes in pregnancy so I am thrilled! I can feel a pinching that is catching my breath. I read too that being aligned prior to delivery can mean a shorter labor. Yes please! It feels good to get adjusted anyway.
I have been seeing my chiro the whole pregnancy. I feel really good! I have not had any real back pains or sciatic nerve problems. It's been fantastic.
