I've heard good things about Zenni, Coastal, and Warby Parker online. I got a complete pair for $110 at Costco. Even adding in the membership cost, it's still a good deal.
If it makes you feel better, vision insurance is often a ripoff that doesn't significantly lower your annual cost.
Thanks I had never heard of these. I will have to get a new checkup done. I don't think I see as well with my current glasses.
Any cheaper places for that? LensCrafters cost about 100$ Thank you
Did you have a regular optometrist or opthomologist? If you did, I'd see them them for an exam. Once when I was inbetween insurance my eye Dr. charged me $50 for the exam.
If not, I'd go to Costco for the exam and order online from Zenni Optical or something. Unless I needed them right away. Then one stop Costco.
Check if your health insurance will cover the exam. Mine did, so I only had to pay my $15 copay and was able to get an exam at the Lenscrafters in my mall.

I got a nice pair from Sams for $200. $250 including exam. They would have been cheaper but I picked an expensive pair of frames. FWIW I have a high index Rx and need the super thin lenses too.
