Last week was horrid and the weekend was OK but still hard. But the past few days I've felt better and even have more energy. I'll be 9 weeks tomorrow.
I went to my OB for my first appointment yesterday and he said everything looks fantastic. I'm measuring a day ahead and the heartbeat is good and strong.
But I am nervous at the sudden loss of symptoms (though I am loving the energy and my stomach being normal again).
That and I've been crampy but I also haven't pooped in a day so it might be that.
But then just now I went to the restroom I have slightly pink discharge. And THAT is the last bit that now now has me worried.

Glad you are feeling better! I'm sure the cramps and pink discharge are just from the doc poking around down there. If it gets any worse is definitely give your doc a call though.

I've had spotting after internals, sometimes for days. I know it's hard, but try not to worry too much - symptoms come and go, too. After all, I barely had any nausea and am now almost 25 weeks!
I'm glad I'm feeling better, too. But I'm also worried b/c when I told the Dr. how horrible last week was he said that it's a good sign and is telling him things are working. But I'm just out of my 8th week and like over night the nausea is gone so now I'm assuming things aren't working. I tried putting that out of my head but then I saw the light pink and freaked.
I'm glad to hear you are feeling better. The same thing happened to me around 12 weeks or so. I have been loving the energy and the food aversions being gone. Only thing I still can't eat is a apple.
Yes!! My ob does a pelvic exam and cervix check (or maybe it was a pap? Something that involved touching my cervix.) around 9w at the confirmation appt. She warned me several times I may spot and that it was ok. Sure enough, the next morning/afternoon I had some pinkish discharge/spotting. It just happened a couple times and was gone.

Ok. I'm starting to calm down. I've usually spotted right away when they mess with my cervix so this caught me off guard since it is so much later.
I haven't had any more pink since then. Maybe now I can enjoy a lapse in symptoms.

Odonata NO worries!!! Symptoms don't mean anything. My symptoms calmed down at around 8 weeks then returned a little bit after 9 weeks. They come and go that is what they do.
I second all other pp's that say that the spotting is most likely due to the exam yesterday. If it happens again/if you are nervous call your doctor.
The cramps are also most likely due to constipation/abdominal pressure based on the rest of your description. I had it some too in the first tri. Deep breaths, you are okay.
Yes, just keep an eye on it but it being so close to an internal exam/US, I'm guessing that's what caused it.
So glad to hear you're feeling better! Fwiw, I never had much in the way of 1st tri symptoms and am doing fine. Symptoms don't mean anything, so enjoy it!
I also have to say that my symptoms come and go all the time. I bet you will be feeling it again soon. It's like waves for me. Evenings and over night are the worst for me.
I was really only nauseous from weeks 7-9. I got off easy in the first tri as far as symptoms go, so try not to worry about the lack of symptoms. Many normal, healthy pregnancies don't have many symptoms, we're just the lucky ones!

Ohh the last two weeks were BAD. I'm so glad I'm not like that this week. I told my Dr and he gave me a script for Zofran but maybe I won't have to use it. At least I have a script if it ever comes back like that again!
I've gotten slight twinges of nausea and I still don't want to touch chicken, but I'm feeling OK again. Thank god.

Good! At my worst, I only wanted fruit or cheese and the texture of food in my mouth would often make me gag. I woke up at 9 weeks and it was gone just as I was about to call for meds. My aversions though have still stuck around.
Also, this is off-topic, but I was wondering where in South Jersey you live? There's not many OBs in my area, so I thought we might also use the same practice. Feel free to PM me, or just ignore me if you're not comfortable sharing No hard feelings.

I'm more south-central in Mercer County. I actually call anything north of me "North Jersey" but I use to work in Somerset Co. and they called that "central" and mercer count was "south". Weirdos. I went to IVFNJ and was discharged and now see Comprehensive OBGYN in Lawrenceville.

Gotcha. To me, you're central I used to live in Essex County, but now I live in Gloucester. I'm so glad you had success with IVFNJ; a lot of my friends have had success at their offices as well!
