Went to the doc this morning to go over annual bloodwork and whatnot. First thing she said was "well you're up about 9lbs" to which I responded "thanks, you weren't supposed to tell me that." I laughed it off but was pretty bummed. (It's muscle entirely, I've lost a few inches since last year and everything is tighter/more toned, but sure I have belly fat - my therapist doesn't want me knowing my weight though because it stresses me into bad behaviors).
Then she went over my bloodwork. Bad cholesterol way down, triglycerides way way down, good cholesterol perfect, all vitamins normal, thyroid well within normal range (I've got hypothyroid so that's always questionable), BP perfect. By the end of the list she said "'eh, don't worry about the 9lbs, you're clearly in better shape than last year - really you're the picture of health... what's your diet like again?" She was asking me for diet advice!!! It was hilarious.
Downside is that my asthma appears to be getting worse, so we're starting on controller meds.
Yay for a great health update, and for being a rock star with that muscle! More muscle, and less inches is awesome. Isn't it fun geeking out over blood work?! I had mine done a few weeks ago and I was particularly smug (LOL) when my Dr got to my cholesterol and triglycerides, and praised me for how exceptional my numbers are. Yay, us!

Yay for good bloodwork! As long as that's good, I shrug off the weight thing (especially when I know that everything has been fitting just as good if not better than before).
Hope the asthma controllers help out. I hate taking mine, but would be lost without them.
That is awesome! Great job! My husband has to get these tests done every few months b/c of some health issues and we totally geek out over the numbers.
