I'm totally grossed out by Emily admitting she wanted Ari so bad she didn't offer him the fantasy suite card. Now she has to choose him or she just looks bad - so much for sparing your daughter!
Shawn's date was so lame I can't believe she made it through w/o falling alseep. They also looked like they had awkward kissing issues.
Re: Jef - I missed his home town date, but did she not meet his parents?? Why didn't they meet her?
She didn't meet his parents. They were away on "charity work"(in a very ridiculously done voice editing, the producers changed missionary work to charity work.) She met his brothers and sisters instead. Also, I don't find Arie attractive AT ALL! I kept trying to look at the tv from different angles to see what she was talking about but I didn't get it.

omg, i think he is so good looking. and the way he holds her head when they kiss...::melts::
these two are so different and i'm interested to see how it all goes down next week. i read the reality steve spoiler and i'm bursting to talk about it.
That's exactly how I feel about Arie, sameoldash. I didn't find him that appealing until I really watched how he kissed her and it all made sense.
I was surprised that she sent Sean home until I really think about their date. It was kind of a snore-fest, but man! is that one very good looking man. I am hoping-hoping-hoping that he is the next Bachelor. I could sure use an entire season centered around him.
I keep thinking that I will read Reality Steve's blog, but go into it knowing that anything could happen. But I really hate spoilers.
I usually don't mind spoilers but these shows are so long and drawn out that I need the surprise to make it through to the end, lol. I was on the computer balancing my checkbook on Monday while watching because I can't hold my focus for almost 2 hours of "no, but I REALLY like you!" repeated over and over.
The finale looks like it could be drama-filled so here is to hoping its good!
OH - Do you like or dislike Bachelor Pad? It grosses me out. I was so disappointed that Chris is going to be on it. It proved to me that Emily made the right decision to get rid of him.
Now I'm thinking Emily wont choose Jef because of their religious beliefs?
I feel like if they were in the real world, she'd date Arie because they're so attracted to each other. He'd be fun to be with, the sex would be fab, but they would fight a lot. I feel like I can see them being hot & cold. I agree w/ PP about his family and her personality, etc.
Because the show forces her to really think and deliberate about the guys and compare them as she's dating multiple guys, she has the ability to make the better "brain" choice as opposed to her sexual desire/emotional choice. I think that is why Jef will beat out Ari. But, I don't see it going the distance. I couldn't date a man with that hair cut. lol. I also think Jef is slightly boring and I can't believe she kept him!!!! I was shocked. Maybe they've just edited it to appear like Arie & Sean had more of a connection w/ her.
I agree that Jef is most likely the better choice all around. He seems more loyal, mature, thoughtful, etc. Ari just seems like he's .... young. He knows he'd be a dad but he has no freakin clue, kwim? I mean Jef doesn't have any experience either but I think he wouldn't be easily disturbed by actually living as a father.
And yes I hated Ari's parents. And I thought she did too!
I sort wish she just boinked Ari and got it out of the way so she could think clearer, lol.

I don't know...Arie dated a woman for years that had kids. From what he said, he was very close to them. I have no clue who she'll choose. She seems the most real with Jeff, but Arie has seemed like the obvious choice since day one. I'm starting to think that maybe her feelings for Jeff snuck up on her & it's surpassed her feelings for Arie.
Add me to the list of people that think they really need to just get it out of their system. And yeah....the way he kisses her...melt.
