They are known for the shaking beef and cellophane noodles with crab. I like the daikon rice cakes too. I just went again this past weekend and it seems that their quality has gone down a bit as the owner's business empire has grown. When I first went several years ago I thought it was TDF; it's lost that wow factor. But it's still tasty and has an awesome view.
I went there about 10 years ago and really liked it. At the time it was much hyped (and it was actually recommended to by a friend who is Asian and has generally high food standards). I have no idea whether it's still equally good. I have no recollection of what we ordered beyond the much touted shaking beef.
We just split a bunch of apps when we were there and the spare ribs were delicious. Where else do you have reservations?
That's the only place in SF, otherwise we have reservations at some places in Napa (where my relatives live). If you have any suggestions I'm all ears!
I looooooved Boulevard and Sons & Daughters. Also I highly recommend you hit the ferry building for lunch and grab a couple different things. Cowgirl Creamery was my favorite, as were the eclairs from Miette.
