Floridian living and running in Boston looking for sympathy... I HATE running outside when it's less than 50 degrees. It makes me wheezy and my chest hurts. I was pressured into signing up for a 5k for this weekend with a bunch of friends, my brother and my trainer. It's 30 degrees here with a windchill making it feel like 17 and the run was along the very breezy waterfront. Guess what....none of the group that was supposed to run with me showed up. I ran alone and ran my worst 5k time ever... Misery. Thanks for letting me rant.
I'm sorry you had a miserable run. If misery really does love company, I did too and I'm right there with you! I just ran the worst 10er and I don't know why.
