What other flavors do people really like? I currently have chocolate outrage; its okay. I've officially decided I hate vanilla after finally eating through 3 boxes, and I don't really like the fruit ones.
I haven't taken much during training yet, but I suppose it's time to start figuring out fueling again.
I usually stick to Hammer gels - but will take a peanut butter GU on a training run for a more dessert-like gel I want to try the salted caramel as well! Let us know what you think!

This is me. I use Powerbar gels, but lean towards the fruitier one. I was shocked when strawberry banana became my fav. Artificial banana sounds vom worthy, but it doesn't taste banany. It's a mild flavor overall. I got stuck with chocolate during a half. For some reason it was thicker & was like a mouth full of frosting or cake batter (not in a good way) at mile 7. I almost hurled.
Normally I don't bother w/ gel on runs less than about 2 hours (other than racing a half). Last night I was so exhausted (and curious about the taste) that I ate a caramel gu 4 miles into my 11. Yum! Delicious, and it helped me finish those long TM miles. It doesn't have a nasty aftertaste that so many do, mostly just tastes like salted caramel candy. I don't know that I could handle 4-5 of them during a marathon because of the sweet factor, but I still give it 2 thumbs up. I'll definitely use several.

My faves are peanut butter, chocolate, and salted caramel. The fruity ones taste like air freshener to me. I haven't tried vanilla yet but I think there's a potential ill like it as long as it isn't too sweet.
