We use TOTW and Before Grain for our cats but I saw they were giving a packet of this away on facebook. I read more about it and am confused. They said they were grain free, etc but everything is chicken meal, duck meal, rabbit meal. I thought "meal" wasn't good. It's a first ingredient. Is it ok? I'm not switching I am curious.

A named meat source, like duck meal, is good.

So as RHB said, chicken meal, lamb meal, duck meal, etc are all fine.
