M: rest T: 13 miles, lower body strength W: 6 miles w/ 800's, upper body and core Th: 11 miles F: 7 miles, yoga Sa: 17 miles Su: strength
No issues, knock on wood.
Highlights/AW's: Last week was my strongest training week ever. I finally got a PR, and broke the curse of the shitty 18 miler. All while hitting 61 miles for the week.

What are you training for? Date? Run the Bluegrass 3/29 (next Saturday!!!)
Training plan for the week? Not sure. Resting my hammy, then going to try to bike and run a little by the end of the week
Any issues or vents? My hamstring was bothering me a little bit, but nothing some stretching and icing couldn't cure. Since my race on Saturday, it's gotten a bit more angry with me
Highlights or AW's from last week? I had an amazing (for me) 4 mile race on Saturday. I had A and B goals going in - beat my B goal by 6 minutes, and my A goal by almost 2. Makes me think I'm not sucking as much as I thought this winter.

What are you training for? Date? I have a 5k this coming Saturday, a 10k on April 6, and a quarter marathon on May 3.
Training plan for the week? I don't know, I'm supposed to run tonight but I don't know if that'll happen. Running with my group on Thursday.
Any issues or vents? Yes: I'm sick. I was super sick right before my last 5k on January 1, and now I'm sick again. My nose is running like crazy, I can't get a good breath and my chest and ribs hurt from coughing.
Highlights or AW's from last week? No, not really.
M: 60 min swim + 45 min run T: 90 min bike W: 90 min swim + 60 min run + hot yoga R: 60 min bike + 30 min trans run + hot yoga F: 60 min masters + 2 hr run S: rest (plenty of chocolate & coffee with zoidberg for recovery!) S: 5 hr bike + 15-30 min trans run
Vents: none, ready to get this peak in and back out!
Austin 1020 on 4/13, Beach to Bay relay marathon 5/17
M: Sunday's long run T: 5 recovery W: strength Th: 8 miles w/ speed F: rest S: easy 8 S: 15
Vents/highlights: I've been having some really great, speedy training runs. It's kind of bittersweet - I know I've got a BQ in me for next fall/winter, but I'm just not going to be able to train for a race like that.
Mon: 10 miles on TM Tues: spin and 4 miles Wed: 8 ish Thurs: rest (long day at work) Fri: something. Not sure yet Sat: 10 ish Sun: yoga
Vents: nothing really (wow!) Aw: granted it was the treadmill but my overall pace for Mondays 10 miler was under 8min which is the fastest I've gone in a long time
What are you training for? Date? Half marathon 4.19 and Marathon 5.10
Training plan for the week?
Get healthy & survive the snow??
I ran Sunday night so took Monday off. This morning I slept in. I've re calibrated my thoughts to this...
Tues night - 3-4 miles easy Wednesday - 5-6 miles with some strides or something. Thursday - probably off... Extra Stretch/core Friday - easy run, distance debatable Saturday -- if I'm feeling ok, go for 20 miles. Otherwise just aim to run for a few hours Sunday - off or recovery run / extra stretch & core
Any issues or vents?
Yes...
I'm allergic to the outdoors, even though it's still mostly winter here. My ribs are sore and tender. We're getting a blizzard today.
Highlights or AW's from last week?
I ran 11 miles on the treadmill Sunday night. I'm half through marathon training, and in spite of my setbacks & whines, I know I CAN do this!
P.S. Sorry I spaced on MMM yesterday. I guess we can all just post here.
-apparently more snow tonight and tomorrow -and the never ending head cold that I feel like I've had for 4 weeks -and Saturday my only day for a long run looks to be the coldest day of the week. I wonder if anyone would notice if I took a 2 hour lunch?? (I am actually seriously debating this option)
Highlights or AW's from last week?
pretty pleased with my race on Saturday. as usual, I am playing the what if game...and this time it's what if it would have been less crowded and I could have gotten a PR?
What are you training for? Date? Olympic Tri 4/26, Reverse sprint tri 5/17, 70.3 6/22
Training plan for the week? Mon - forced off due to exhaustion Tues - 20 mile ride Wed - Track workout Thurs - Hill ride Fri - ? Sat - Long Run Sun - long Ride (I hope)
Any issues or vents? I love travel. But there is too much happening right now.
Highlights or AW's from last week? I stuck to most of my training plan while on the road, despite an insane schedule.
Training plan for the week: yesterday - rest today - run club (3 miles) tomorrow - 4 thursday - 2ish friday - rest saturday - I think I'll bike a few miles Sunday - 13.1
This week is so jacked. Spring break has thrown me off...it's too chilly in the morning for me to get up and run, but all I want to do all day is lay around in my jammies drinking coffee. Hard knock life, yo.
What are you training for? Date?
I wouldn't call it training, but I have a half on 4/6 and something on 5/4 (not sure if I'll do half or 10k)
Training plan for the week?
M: power toning (that kicked my ASS) Tu: 4 mi W: 5 mi Th: body pump F: 4 mi Sa: 9 mi Su: rest
Any issues or vents?
not really. I'm trying to be very conservative in my running right now. No speedwork and not too many consecutive days, which is hard when I have a good run.
Highlights or AW's from last week?
My run on Sunday was awesome, which was nice, since I almost bailed on it.
Vents: nothing really (wow!) Aw: granted it was the treadmill but my overall pace for Mondays 10 miler was under 8min which is the fastest I've gone in a long time
:Y: I think it is more impressive it is on the treadmill! It is way too easy to put that speed down. I know from experience.
Hi Mind if I join you ladies? (A long time ago I was a board regular on 'that other site').
What are you training for? Date? Half-Marathon, April 13th
Training plan for the week?
M: 3 miles easy + cross fit Tu: 4 miles W: 6 miles with 4x800s and 6x400s meter repeats Th: crossfit + 3 miles easy F: rest Sa: 9-10 miles Su: crossfit gymnastics skills class
Any issues or vents? I'm not loving the weather and had a rough half marathon last weekend even though it ended up a PR.

What are you training for? Date? Long term goal: Cascade Lakes OWS Series - August 1-3
Training plan for the week? Swim Monday-Wednesday-Saturday
Any issues or vents? Nope!
Highlights or AW's from last week? Hmmm, I got a key to the pool at the gym (since I'm the aquatics director now) and that was pretty cool. Unfortunately, now I have to hire people. People who apparently don't understand that in order to work as a lifeguard, you have to have lifeguard certifications.
Oh yeah I have a half marathon this Saturday, how did that happen? This is my high mileage week for my A race which is the Nike Women's Half on April 27th.
Training plan for the week? M: 4 miles T: 3.5 miles + strength W: 9 miles Th: cross F: rest S: 14.1 Sun: rest
Any issues or vents? Just freaking out about signing up for another marathon.
Highlights or AW's from last week? Not H&F related, but we bought a car on Sunday.
