I was looking at zulily today and saw that they had some toy vacuums on there. We have a friend's kid's bday coming up and he would love something like that. Anyway, I went to amazon to read reviews. This was the first one I saw:
I bought this for my little guy who has a vacuum obsession right now. This product is pretty much as advertised. The vacuum actually works as advertised and (Good and bad) has very light/low suction. My main worry buying this was that the suction would be high enough that if he (my son) put it on his eye, and it formed a seal, that it would hurt him. No worries there. The vacuum will actually suck up tiny Styrofoam beads, but nothing more than that. The vacuum doesn't actually come with the aforementioned tiny Styrofoam beads, probably because they would be dangerous. : P
Not too noisy, not to flimsy, made my son happy... nice product.
What? How bizarre. I mean, obvious you don't want a toy vacuum to have so much suction that it's a safety concern. But the EYE? Weird. Styrofoam beads? Crazy.
I don't know. Maybe? My friend regularly turned her kid loose with it in the kitchen because he just loved to vacuum, so she figured she may exploit that to the fullest extent while it lasted. So far, he still has both of his eyes.
Crazy people, maybe. I bought my kids their very own dustbusters, when they were little, and they LOVED them. It was a big help too, we'd have contests to see who could suck up the most cat hair.
