I was at chemo yesterday so my Mom had to drop off ds's application at my preferred school.

I was all "TELL THEM I COULDNT BRING IT BECAUSE I'M AT CHEMO. AND THAT THE TEACHER RECOMMENDATION IS LATE BECAUSE....CANCER AND STUFF."

Also, $300 for them to think about letting him in.

I am so dumb.

But the school is perfect. Really. And it's in the area we hope to move to before he starts public highschool (moving for a better school district) and then we wouldn't have to transfer dd when we move.

The only way we get it back is if they decide not to process his application or bring him In for a screening. They only do that if they're already totally full.
