Jacksonville. We have been here for 7 years now. All of my family lives up north (Illinois, Indiana) and my husband's family is spread out over the south.
Hi! I love crafts, too! Haven't been able to do too much lately, though... in the middle of renovating our new house. I know this isn't an Ask Me Anything, but I'm gonna anyway. PIP your dream and/or current living room, kitchen, bathroom? I'm looking for decor inspiration as we head more into that side of the remodel.
We are renovating our home too! We bought a fixer upper because it was in a great school district. It was built in 1940 and needed a ton of work. No one had lived here for 10 years so it was in pretty bad shape, but it had good bones. We gutted the kitchen, had the bathroom tile refinished, new roof, new floors, new AC, paint, etc. We do each little bit as we can afford it. How do I pip?

I can't find any good current pics Our house is so small (1200 sq ft) and we have done a ton of organization and rearrangeing lately. I need to take more pics. Everything I love seems to be too big for the space we have. I do want to paint our tiny kitchen walls white, and we have white cabinets. I think it might make it look bigger.

Us TOO! Except 1923, and only empty for 3 years. We haven't touched the main floor bathroom yet; we're waiting until the bathroom downstairs (which needs much less work) is done, and we can't start on that until next week when the French drain and sump pump is installed. But all the rest, kitchen, roof, etc. is exactly what we've been doing for the past month. And lots of plastering, because we had all the old knob and tube wiring replaced. Blech.
Cute kiddos, love the matching pajamas!
Thanks! At one point during our kitchen remodel I got so pissed at H that I threw all of our dishes in the trash. lol. The sink wasn't working right and I was so frustrated. hahaha
