Update us on yo babies / baby efforts / bumps. (With pictures, plz!)

Here's mah belly. Taken on Monday. Bump is starting to round out a little more and it feels like baby is trying to break out from the inside! So much pressure!!

PS. We find out the sex on Friday. I can't wait!!

Inside baby is good! Feeling more movement lately (yay!), and feeling rounder and rounder by the day (pictures later). Definitely have a bigger bump by day's end than in the morning.

Outside toddler is good! She's becoming way more verbal and using her pronouns properly (though she still uses 'me' for 'I' a lot), and is now in love with Tangled (which I'll take over Lilo and Stitch any day) and will watch it all day every day if we let her. We were just with M/FIL for 4 1/2 days, so she's been spoiled a bit (ice cream for dessert most nights, movies and iPad a lot), so I'm sure we're going to have a demon child to deal with for a few days to even her out. Sigh.

Bjl amazes me so much. She's 25 mos now, and can count to three, which, I dunno why, amazes me. Now that I say it "out loud" it doesn't sound as amazing, but whatever, I'm happy! She can count to ten when we guide her, but not all the way through and sometimes jumps around. She likes to have "conversation" now, instead of only using her words to ask for something or respond to something.

Boy is almost 5 months now, eep! I go back to work in a week, and he's not doing so hot on bottles. He doesn't/ hasn't screamed bloody murder the way bjl did, but she "got it" a lot faster. Boy still cries the first time around, cries himself to sleep, then he's fine after he wakes up. In developmental news, he seems to be doing a lot better, fussiness wise, now that I think we might have the diet figured out. I know it's not perfect yet, but omg we have such an improvement. In the last few days he's also officially started doing "baby push-ups" and can hold himself up pretty well. He's also actually jumping now in the jumper. He's such a big boy!

I'll do pics later today, my mom will be over so I can sneak onto a computer w/o bjl bashing the keys!

E slept through the night for the first time in over a month! Hopefully now that the top teeth have popped through and he's over HFM this will be a regular thing again. He's not really doing anything new. I got an email update saying things he may be doing at this age are clapping, waving, pulling himself up to stand, getting into a sitting position from laying, etc. None of which he is doing. I guess he's falling behind the curve.

My emails are telling me my baby should be kicking, but s/he isn't yet. Yay for behind-the-curve babies! And glad to hear E is finally feeling better and sleeping through the night. You must be SO relieved!!

What kind of seat are you using? I like that high lip on the tray. We just sit DS in the bumbo with the tray and the lip on the tray is too low, so everything gets swept off of it in about 2 seconds.

This kid has wedged itself sideways I think. The likelihood of it popping out of my stomach seems to be getting greater by the second. Actually my stomach has looked like this the past few days (you know, just a little exaggeration). 


I thought feeling the baby move would be weird and alien like, and it is, don't get me wrong, but it is also the coolest part of pregnancy. Maybe if being pregnant didn't suck so much I wouldn't feel that way lol.

All the women on my BMB are feeling their babies move on the regular, it seems. I think I felt a few flutters last week, but I'm not sure, and I'm IMPATIENT.

Some scary movie...The Devil's Due. I just remember this from the trailer lol. 

Up until week...22ish? 23? It just felt like a gold fish swimming around. About week 24 it was like oh holy crap that's a baby! Now it's hard to get to sleep and then when I wake up for my 4 am bathroom break I can't get back to sleep! 4 am is NOT party time. That's when you should be dragging yourself home from a party, taking a multivitamin and hoping to hell your hangover isn't so bad. This kid has so much to learn...

Late check in as I'm dealing with sick kids. M is all sorts of sniffly, coughing and snotty but seems to be doing much better today. J is a little stuffy and a couple coughs only at night/early morning while she sleeps but is fine during the day? Craziness. J, is 3 months old today and I paid off our hospital bill so thats awesome.
