Has this been discussed? I want to get one for DD's birthday - she likes to carry her toy purse around and has played with her friend's backpacks. I would like her to carry her own diapers and wipes so that I could switch back to smaller purses.
So, who has one and likes them? I'm wondering whether I should go all-out for a SkipHop or Pottery Barn Kids version (really love the PB Kids designs) or steer cheaper and do a character Elmo or Mickey. Recommendations? I'm not really looking for the leashed kind but wouldn't reject something that came with a detachable leash.
Max has a Skip Hop that I got for our holiday travel. He likes to wear it for about two minutes lol but I did really like having his stuff separate. It's a nice bag and super cute. It held two small board books, a stuffed animal, his pacifiers and a snack cup and he could still wear it comfortably (he just gets antsy about that stuff quickly).
It looks like the shoulder straps are padded on both the PBKids and SkipHop versions (the main thing making me lean in that direction) - do you guys think the padding makes it comfy for the kiddos? Nothing itchy on the neck?

We have the skip hop monkey as well. I got it at target for $12.50 this fall when they put all skip hop on 1/2 off. He wears it sometimes but I keep it stocked with diapers and snacks and use it in lieu of am actual diaper bag these days.

They have multiple backpacks. They are mostly disney princess type backpacks. They do enjoy putting stuff in and playing around the house. The backpacks don't normally stay on long outside the house.
L has a PBK one. It's great, durable and cute. I didn't get it monogrammed because they usually mess up the stitching. They have free shipping often too!
